Do not order anything on line from Ace, I did they took my money and never saw the merchandise. Try calling and they said there is a wait of 30 minutes. I wait for over an hour. Try contacting them in different ways with no luck. Well they took my money.

I've clearly flag for a full insurance but at the pick-up desk things have been changed. I need to chance the car because the first one had problem, the second car was very dirty. I'm still waiting for my invoice the check all the charges. Very bad experience

Absolutely horrible. I called first to see if an item was in stock to save myself a half hour drive. I was told over the phone it was. When I arrived and explained I was the one who called about the Rust-Oleum clear spray lacquer, I was told, “I don’t think Rust-Oleum makes that?” THEN WHY TELL ME ITS IN STOCK! I assured them they do and showed them a picture on my phone. After wasting even more of my time and passing me to three different sales people I finally got to the one who said, “no, we don’t carry that.” Waste of an afternoon.

The store policy for the Swannanoa, NC store is for everyone to wear a mask , on all four of my visits I found employees wearing masks under their noses. On the last visit three employees wear hanging out near the register 2 were not wearing masks, when I asked them to backup so I could get to the register the employee who was wearing a mask told me (lying quite blatently) that they were all wearing masks. I pointed to the 2 with him and said they were not, I was then told by the mask wearing employee that they work 45 hours a week and i didn't know how hard it was, in fact I work 50 hours a week hard physical work and wear a mask the whole time, it can be done

Poor customer service at best, I had to talk with a customer service person with an issue with a product from one of ACE Store he inform me they were privately own store and he could not help me. I had to deal with the store and he hung on me.

I ordered some mason jars to store food. I received a box of broken glass. Customer service has been jerking me around for a week. As I type this I have been on with a rep for 45min. He continues to put me on hold. His last resolution had me going to the store with the box of broken glass. You see, according to ACE, broken glass can't be shipped. Of course it's OK for me to put it in my vehicle and drive it over to the store. BTW I ordered this online because I'm not going to the store!!!! Call just ended, unresolved. Not online or in store ever again Ace Hardware.

Clearly they do not value customer service at this company. I placed an order for a pool vacuum online and was sent the incorrect product of much lesser quality. I called customer service 5 times at over an hour on hold every time. After all of this, my issue was not resolved. I was disconnected 3 times, the representative put me on hold once and never came back, and the last call I was promised a return email within the day letting me know how to resolve the problem and the email never came. I then proceeded to file an online claim, and sent customer service pictures of the incorrect product shipped to me only to be told that they shipped the correct product and I needed to go to a store to discuss a refund. This is the worst customer service experience I can remember having with any company. Needless to say I will never shop at Ace online or in a store again.

Terrible customer service. Items say available for pickup and they are rarely actually in stock. Good luck trying to get them on the phone for customer service, quicker to speak to IRS. Shame, they used to be reliable.
