Today around 4:30pm I went in Ace to return a item that was never use, but had been open, Ace wouldn't return the item, and offer no further assistance, so I called the guy that o was returning the part for and he came to the store, and they proceed to return the item with no problem, but the only difference is see between him and me is my skin, im a black woman, and he's a white man, the treatment, and privileges stood out like a sore thumb, I am sick and tired of white people treating us less than, i will be post this experience all over social media, black people must stop shopping with people that don't treat us fairly.

I will never set foot inside an Ace Hardware store again. Ever. I purchased a mower online for in store pickup. I noticed the order was immediately cancelled. I called the local store, who couldn’t figure what happened. So I called customer service. I don’t recall ever having a call with any customer service representative that was so outright flippant. He was rude and condescending. He eventually hung up on me. I called back and got another representative who was more pleasant, but not helpful. With so many hardware stores in my area, including all of the big chain stores, so long Ace. I really wanted to support the little guy. But I won’t do so at my own expense.

I went to my local Ace in New hope Pa., Looking for 2 1/4x 20 wing nuts. The cost for each was 1.09 each. I was stunned by the price but needed them that day. I could have bought 20 of them for the same price at Amazon. The markup is almost criminal. Everything you get at Ace you can get 1/2 to 2/3's less at Home Depot or Amazon.

No more Seright's Ace Hardware for me! I am a veteran and entitled for a veteran's discount at the Seright's Ace Hardware Store at Post Falls ID. The first time at Seright's I asked for a 10% veteran's discount and provided my telephone number and Idaho driver's license that showed "veteran". Today, 7/7/25 at 5:37 PM, I provided my telephone number to Selena upon buying $30.28 worth of merchandise. I looked at the receipt and discovered no 10% discount. I asked Selina why no discount. Seline said I did not ask for a discount. Logically, upon creating an account the veteran's discount would be applied for purchases upon presenting a telephone number. Selina then ignored me and began cleaning a soft drink glass door display case, to Selina this was more important than helping a customer. I then contacted assistant manager Kyle for help. Kyle took about 20 minutes after many key strokes and several requests for me to enter my debit card for a $30.28 credit. Finally, after about 25 minutes later I was handed a receipt that showed -$30.28 credit and a 2nd receipt that showed the correct charge of $27.25. About 30 minutes wasted and no credit shown on my bank card some 2 hours later - just 2 debit charges, - $30.28 and - $27.25. Nobody at Seright's knew how to fix the problem in a reasonable time and Selina, a trainee, was rude and disrespectful. No more Seright's Ace Hardware on Seltice Way, Post Falls, ID ever again!!

The Oakdale strore has a fabulous selection if you are willing to pay their prices and only one cashier was working Same item at Tractor Supply for 25% less and auto check out.

Loyal customer placed online order of 4 items for delivery. Paid 35 for same day delivery otherwise it is 25 dollars. It is now the next day and order still did not arrive. Contacted Jose as well as Wendy at Ace customer service asking foe my 10 dollars back because the items did not arrive same day when ordered by noon. They refused. ACE took money from me they didn't earn and it looks like false advertising to me to charge extra for same day and not deliver or refund. I can place my loyalty and money at alot of other places , see ya Ace you didn't Ace it at all.

I have loved Ace hardware over the years. Yesterday was a shock. I needed one good pulsating sprinkler to attach to a hose for a small garden bed. I asked if someone could show me how to adjust it. No one was interested, not even the store manager. He said he didn't have time to Google it even thought there were no other customers waiting. I went home and finally figured it out myself. I hope this is an anomaly. This Ace store is in Skyland in South Asheville, NC.

They are lying to people telling them if they download the app and connect their account they will give you $5 instantly. Complete B.S. I got nothing. Refuses to function or let you login unless they have your exact location even after entering your zip code. They are pathetically desperate to sell people's information.
