AMAZING customer service! First off, there’s no automated caller you have to deal with and I was on the phone for two minutes at most. I’m not one to write reviews but this experience warrants it. I ordered new contacts on 7/7 and chose free shipping which said 5-7 days. After I placed my order it said the estimated arrival date was 7/20. The problem was that I was going out of town 7/18. So, I immediately called and a nice young lady answered whose name I didn’t listen to but now I wish I would have because she deserves all the credit here! Anyways, I told her I would have to change the shipping on the order I just placed because I’m going out of town and she said she would upgrade the shipping method at no additional charge. All she did was ask what my name was and just like that got it upgraded. What a rockstar! Here it is, 7/9 and the contacts are in my hand! Thanks to this young lady and to 1-800-contacts! I won’t be using anyone else.

ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL ISSUES IN PAST TRIED AGAIN AL ABOUT MONEY LIED TO ALONG WITH MY DOCTOR 10 TIMES TODAY: KAYLA PAGE IAN AARON HORRID MY MD WAS TOLD TO CALL IN ON THIS HOLIDAY WEEKEND no MD CALL LINE : RUDE PLATITUDES DISMISSING COULD THEY COULD NOT UNDERSTAND I AM BLIND NOW I HAVE NO CONATCT LENSES LOST MY MD FROM HELPED SO MUCH BUT IAN KAYLA ALL FAILED ALONG WITH AARON THEY ARE ALL WORKING FROM HOME LAZY WOULD NOT PULL UP PRIOR MD AND ORDERS FOR ME ONLY 2 YRS AGO .. THEN I REMINDED THEM OF HIPPA EMR RECORDS NEED TO BE KEPT ' LIES THEN SAID ' OH YES WE FOUND YOU MD NAME HAVE MY OLD ADDRESS FROM 17 YRS AGO ANGRY THAT I HAVE ASKED TO CORRECT THAT THEY STATE IT IS SO HORRID .WE RECORD EVEN BEFORE SAYNG HELLO UTAH BASED COMPANY SO UNETHICAL SO HARMFUL THEN WE FEAR RETALATION OF THIS COMPANY NEVER ORDER AGAIN 4 HOURS TODAY ALLRUDE REPS WORKING FROM HOME WHILE MY MD DR M HAS HELPED BUT THEY DO NOT CARE MORE ERRORS MORE LIES MORE LAZINESS WHILE DUE TO EMERGENCY I CANNOT SEE

I never received my rebate and have been following up with their customer service for months. Every time I contact them, they tell me to keep waiting and that the rebate takes a while. Finally, today when I emailed them again, they said someone already used my rebate gift card at several random stores. It's obvious the customer service reps I contacted earlier never bothered to check on my rebate status. I then called them to confirm my address, and they confirmed that they sent the rebate card. I just checked my USPS Informed Delivery around the date they supposedly sent it. Informed Delivery shows all mail sent to my address (even if the mailman accidentally delivers it somewhere else), and nothing from 1-800 Contacts around that time. Either they never sent it or sent it to the wrong address. They refuse to send another card and implied that I was lying. They offered a discount on my next order to try to get more of my money, but there will be no next order from me. Order your contacts somewhere else! It's obvious they just want your money and don't care about customers at all. From reading other reviews, it sounds like the rebate may be a marketing scam.

OK Site. The rebate process is necessarily difficult (they give you the discount assuming you won't mail something back to them). When I contacted them, they pretended to look up other options. They won't offer a straight up discount.

Back in Feb 2020, I tried to use the FREE eye exam on the website. It didn't work the three times I tried it. It couldn't record my answers well even though I was in a quiet room. I had to get my contact prescription from my doc. Having my prescription, I wanted to get a price match so I chatted with them online. My chat session was going well and my sale almost finalized when it dropped. Then, it kept dropping the next 4 times. After some time, I restarted the process. They still had most of my info except the price matching. I'm unsure if they called my doc to confirm prescription. The agent was able to price match again and the sale finalized. I selected UPS Ground (standard) to ship my contacts. Initial estimates were 11 days. I received it in 2 days; just like it stated in my initial shipping email. North Carolina to NYC.

Beware if you order online. For some bizarre reason - that 1800 contacts can not account for- I received two sets of contacts my current prescription (photo sent) and my past prescription -which was expired and I clearly did not order. Needless to say i was charged for both -called 1800 contacts - now its my responsibility to go to post office and send back - multiple calls after 1800 received the erroneous contacts back I have yet to be refunded 120.00 Told to wait 10 days! Totally unacceptable, and would not recommend. Tremendous aggravation and not worth it!

I ordered contacts with 1-800 contacts. The only good thing is that they did come on time with ordering them for next day delivery. But the only down side I've noticed with their contacts is that after taking them out at night.The following morning I have dried crust in the corners of my eyes. I know its not the make up I wear or the make up remover I use since the contacts I was getting with my actual eye doctor has never done this to me before.But Im just going to hope that its just because its spring and its allergies and not their contacts... But time will tell but will wear my glasses for 24 hours and put in contacts again later on in the week with no make up and see what happens.

I can’t explain why anyone can claim a bad experience. I have been a client since 2000. I have had had excellent service. There is NO computer answering the phone, not once! Always a person. And I don’t have a “special client only” phone number like elsewhere, and as have called from different phones over the years, I can’t claim they know it’s a repeat client calling every time. I have let my prescription run out and they have accommodated me with emergency lenses if I can’t get into my eye doc right away, I had luggage lost with the two weeks worth of lenses inside (only a couple of days worth in my carry-on) yet when I called and explained I received new lenses to my hotel the next day-no charge! That was faster than the airline found my luggage. When my mom was sick, I went to take care of her, she got worse and I there longer than I planned for, then she died. I called 1-800Contacts b/c it was easier for me to order more lenses from them than have my husband send me some from home. When I explained why I needed the order sent to FL, not only did they send lenses, they didn’t charge me (not what I was expecting) and they had slipped in a sympathy card where some folks took the time to write some really nice things. I could never leave a company who has treated me so beautifully over the years. I have written many letters to their company but maybe this is my first review. I should have done it sooner. Great Companies are made up of people doing their job better than expected. I don’t know who runs it, but they are terrific. Sincerely, C Velz
