It is a good product and works great but it took too long to get it, so I had to go to Wall-Mart and buy a different type of wall adapter charge so I could keep my batteries charged up, in my Home Patrol 2.

Got preprogramming. Unit arrived with no instruction on use. Very confusing as I am not a geek and was hoping I could just turn it on but now II'm downloading a 50 page instruction manual and trying to figure it out. Not a good experience.

Hey James, the programming is on the scanner you just need to access the files. Here is how to find them: https://www.zipscanners.com/resources/faq/ But you're right, this could be easier and we'll produce a printed handout to go in each box that includes programming in a few weeks.
