Sorry to hear this but looking at your order you did not pay for programming. We noticed that you added programming notes when you bought your scanner from us but did not pay for the programming. We caught this and called you the same day to clarify and you told us you understood and you would find someone local. While we always like to get feedback and improve I'm not sure what we could have done better. Negative reviews like this hurt our small company and I'm hoping you can update or delete this. Thanks.

Hey James, the programming is on the scanner you just need to access the files. Here is how to find them: https://www.zipscanners.com/resources/faq/ But you're right, this could be easier and we'll produce a printed handout to go in each box that includes programming in a few weeks.

Your order was on: Jan 19, 2016. 1 year, 8 months and 5 days ago. Seems to have worked for almost 2 years. We tried to help you update which you declined. We can send you a new programmed SD card for your area $39 which you can buy here: https://www.zipscanners.com/police-scanner-radio-programming.html You wanted for free which we cannot do and now we get this review of a 'scanning horror show' which is ridiculous. We go way above and beyond and are still willing to help you but we are a business and cannot work for free. Hi Mike, I am sorry that your Scanner registered an error, this can happen sometimes with scanners. I have since sent you a tracking number with the new SD card to solve your issue. Please give us an update on this once you have installed it into your scanner. Thanks

Hello Joseph Moreland, We reviewed your account and it says here that there were no issues with the scanner and programming. You mentioned it was excellent and you gave us a chat last Sunday asking how to adjust the volume. We sent you an email of our video guides and walk you through on volume adjustment. After resolving your question, providing quality on programming and hassle free scanning you tend to give us this feedback. If you need more help on how to adjust the volume please follow these steps: 1. Go to a weather channel out of your service area. 2. Break squelch (until you hear the hissing. 3. Push the up arrow on the 4 way push pad to increase the audio volume. 4. Push the down arrow on the 4 way push pad to decrease the volume. 5. Adjust squelch to your liking.
