This company is terrible and the customer service I had id appalling, charged another like $1000 when they made no reminder of when the next annual round of payment was due and didn’t even authorise any refund. Total fraud and scam I feel like they never seem to try and listen out just want every buck of my money!!

What a scam..If yahoo, bing and companies like mapquest think forcing yext onto potential companies will increase market share they are wrong wrong wrong. Its very easy to change your business info at yelp, trip advisor, facebook and google. What a absolute pain in the @ss doing the same at yahoo. I found the microscopic link to do it for free for yahoo but cant find the same for mapquest. Have wasted 2 days trying to get this done..Im sure at some point google will snuff out players like this. I like competition but Wow, this is not the way to do it. All i wanted was a way to setup my business accounts on the alt search and map engines so i could pay for ads like I do with google. Thanks for wasting two days Yext and its partners.. Stop calling or trying to contact me!

I love the Bardstown Kentucky Fazoli's... It's always clean they have nice and friendly employees and the food is always fresh and hot. Mindy is Simply the Best, I give them 5 stars!

Bad services & SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM. then I finally signed up for it and it did absolutely nothing except empty my bank account. They are a compilation of old sites that tried charging on each but all failed. Someone came up with the great idea of packaging all these crappy sites and charge a small fee for it. Yahoo is a joke and this crap makes it even more of a joke than ever before. This is just terrible.... They managed to remove my initial review so I am re-posting...... I never got my money's worth and now they tried taking away my voice!

Very dirty and dishonest company. Had a 1 year contract with them that was paid in full and I actually did not use it till the end. I was using another company and going on about my business and 4 months later I got a bill from Yext. I called them and explained I was not using there software and I assumed after the period I paid for ended it was over. I asked to speak to the representative that sold me the 1 year agreement to only be told he was no longer there. He said nothing about the contract continuing indefinitely. But he was not around for me to talk to. I asked them to please cancel my account but they said No and I said you cannot force someone to continue to do business with you. Back and forth until they agreed to put it under review. I did not hear from them from May till October when I received a notice that over $1200 was going to collections? What? Back in May they were arguing I owed them $576 which included 2 months of service that had not yet come to pass. I honestly think this company is a scam at this point. They don't care about customers and only about squeezing every dime they can out of you. Stay away from them and check out another service!

I ran their listings scanner and the results came out to 52%. I manually validated all the major listings that they claim had wrong or missing information and the listings were all there and correct. Their tool is seriously flawed. While I wouldn't go so far as to accuse them of a flat-out scam, it seems odd that their tool screams that I need their services when I do not. Additionally, their "exclusive" relationship with Yahoo makes it so I cannot even edit my own information on Yahoo anymore, I have to go through Yext and pay $150.FOR ONE LISTING! And now a comment on the industry as a whole. The information about my business is just that, MINE. No listing service should be allowed to offer their service unless they provide the owner of the business with a free and uncomplicated method of keeping their own information updated. They have the absolute right not to publish a listing for me without me paying for the service. But posting erroneous information without my permission or giving me the ability to correct it has got to be actionable, legally. Think about it like this. Can a marketing company put up a billboard or broadcast a radio or TV spot for someone else's business with erroneous information without the possibility of legal action taken against them? If so, what's to stop a competing restaurant from putting up a sign that sends competitors customers in the wrong direction? Or that says they are having a 90% off sale when they are not? When these search engines create a "listing" without our permission, they are basically doing the same thing. Trustpilot: To allay your concerns about me not having been a customer of Yext, allow me to add this: I did indeed pay Yext to update my listings but after months of trying they were unable to establish an account for my business. They never explained why this happened. It took me a few more months of constant emails to finally get a refund. The above conclusion came as a result of my research into whether I should try again, hoping Yext had fixed whatever technical issue that had been having. That said, my comment about Yext's listing scan being inaccurate is correct and provable. Feel free to contact me if you want to see my research.

So far so good. Only issue is there is a one week lag on their analytics reporting. So frustrating in 2019.

My business has lost ranking ability from signing up with Yext. They do not care about your business or the integrity and honesty of doing business after you leave. Google requires consistency across the net for your business-related info. Once Yext enters the picture they put the info you give across unneeded platforms to create a stronghold on your dependence of their being paid. An incredible number of listing platforms not even relevant next to Google, Facebook, Yahoo, etc. are added to make the bridge of dependence stronger. I too experienced having these agencies tell me they would not or could not change my info long-tern because of their contract with Yext. So I am stuck with fighting to keep my name and info accurate where I can. However, Yext is now in charge of Yahoo. Although in a search it is said Yahoo will give you a free listing, once existing Yext holds it hostage along with all other related listings they post for a fee. Yext is a disappointment. We need leaders helping people succeed and doing quality business not monopolizing the internet and hurting business owners who wish to take on their own work. Unless Yext changes their policy or makes right what is illegal and not yet dealt with due to unfair practices, Do not waste your money or time unless you are going to pay them ongoing at $599+ a year long term. Yext you have negatively affected my business and have wasted a lot of time I could be spending helping other people.
