I was worse off for having used YEXT!! I used this service for a year. Good sales pitch upfront, but it's like your business gets infected with Yext. They do present you with listings from sites I've never heard of before that suspiciously have the same wrong address that has never been used in the history of my company. You look at the list of these companies and think wow, getting this info corrected on all these sites should make a tangible difference... Nope. If you've never heard of them how much of a difference can they make. But hey, getting all that stuff fixed "once and for all" would be worth the money... Nope. What they don't tell you is that once you cancel your subscription, magically that wildly inaccurate information repopulates even sites that you knew were correct prior to Yext. Yup, my Yahoo listing had that wild address THAT WAS NOT THERE PRIOR TO YEXT!! So I clicked on the link that said I could correct the information and low and behold it took me to the YEXT SITE telling me basically if I subscribe again they will fix it. Luckily I found a hidden link amidst their site that says update Yahoo free basic listing, which I did. Then I started receiving phone calls immediately telling my my change didn't go through. When I asked if they were trying to sell me something the stuttered and stammered and hung up. If you want YOUR BUSINESS TO BE INFECTED BY YEXT, throw several hundred dollars away and they will keep your info correct as long as you continue to pay them. I'm amazed this is allowed. I look forward to the double talk reply to this review.

Inaccurate and incorrect information on business listings can come from sources all over the web like data aggregators, user suggestions and publishers themselves. If a business is not using Yext, we do not have control of their digital knowledge. Our mission is to put you in control of your business information everywhere it lives online and provide you with a central source of truth to update your information on search engines, directory sites, maps, apps, etc., in near real time. Once a customer stops using Yext, we relinquish immediate control of all their listings back to the individual publisher. If you had an issue or question for any of the publishers, you would need to contact that publisher directly. You can manually update information on each site by adding your business information to each individual publisher. Yext is just one solution that businesses can use to manage their data across the web, and going through us is not required.
