I started my hearing aid buying process by first researching the brand and model that I wanted. Once I decided on what I wanted, I did more research to find the best source. Once of my sources was a discount plan through my health insurance company (a Medicare Advantage plan), but the discount offered against the retail price was prohibitive. Then I found and contacted Yes Hearing. The people there were very helpful and friendly and offered the hearing aids that I wanted for a much lower price than my insurance company or any other sources I found. I was a little concerned about using a "mail order" company for such an important purchase, but the staff at Yes kept me fully informed during the entire process. Within a week of ordering, the hearing aids were delivered to a local provider who came to my home to perform a hearing test and to set up and fit the hearing aids. I also received follow up calls from the staff and can contact them any time for problems or adjustments. I am very happy with this purchase.
