Yarbo is a company that backs their products. I purchased my Yarbo at the end of 2024. I knew there was a wait for the product but was very excited to try something new so I was ok to wait for it. I have had a few issues. I have had to replace an antenna, my mower module died and recently had a core replacement. During each event Yarbo took total responsibility and I had a replacement within Two weeks or less. I had a great response from customer service and technical support in diagnosing each issue. I have complete faith in their drive to make Yarbo a great product. No new product or technology works perfectly at first. This includes the space industry. You have failure but we learn from it. Yarbo I believe is at the forefront of its technology and would bet on them for the future. Great service and the mower is a lot of fun and saves me a lot of work.

Still has its problems
I would like to option to do half stars. My score would be a 3.5 at the moment. I have used the Yarbo now for a few months. I have the original M1 module and the Pro. The Pro does perform better with tall grass but in my experience, it does not perform the quality of cut that I expected. It leaves some tall grass that it just lays over. I have cut on the lowest speed and all the way up to fast. Only the 2nd time around the tracks began making a popping noise. Based on the research online I found that I need to grease the tracks. After every use is a bit excessive, especially needing something that did not come with the original purchase, so I have to spend more money. Currently I still have issues with the unit climbing onto things no matter what setting of avoidance is picked. I do not quite trust it enough to just let it run when I am not at home yet. The concept if awesome and it does work in some areas. I have a lot of problems with it losing gps signal and camera at night time on the pro module now as well.

I love this machine
I love this machine. It is my first robot lawn mower so not much to compare to but it has been working great all summer. In the beginning I didn’t have a great place to mount my antenna and I was hesitant over where and how to place my docking station. I definitely over shot on the docking station install, but put my antenna inside my garage. I had to modify the mount to make it work inside my space and wound up gashing my hand and needing a few stitched (not recommended). After running the antenna inside my garage I noticed I had frequent drops where yarbo would just sit in the yard for 10-20 minutes waiting on signal again. I had a custom mount built to mount the antenna to the top of my house (the included mounting pole is a bit flimsy and shaky for my liking). After installing the mount high on my house I haven’t noticed any further signal drops. Yarbo does have a few issues on steep slopes, especially in the morning dew when grass is wet, but it does a great job after you get your map dialed and figure out the trouble spots in your yard. How reliably it can mow without getting stuck or tearing up your yard depends entirely on your attention to the mapping process. I am anxious to see how well it maintains my 325ft driveway in the snow!

3 Yarbo cores and still on my zero turn.
I’m on my third unit and still having to mow my yard while the Yarbo sits idle on the charger. Support is slow and inaccurate. They frequently check my unit remotely and tell me it’s working fine, when I opened a ticket because it’s not working! They replaced the first unit with a refurbished unit that never worked at all. The third unit won’t hold a GPS signal so I can’t create a map - so it’s not cutting any grass. Six months, $6k, 3 core units, 2 mower units and I still have to cut my own grass.

Terrible support
The setup was a challenge but we got it done. It worked great for 3 weeks and then just stopped cutting grass. The blades wouldn't start turning when told to cut an area. I could manually start the blades with the app. This showed it wasn't a mechanical issue. Support is terrible. You call or open a ticket and receive an email saying we're looking into it. No one that answers the phone has a clue how to help. One rep told me the R&D team (tech support) was in China and they would look at it the next day. 7 days go by and no results. Thank goodness I purchased through Amazon because Yarbo didn't want to honor their 30 day money back guarantee. All I got from them is please give us more time. Great product when it worked, terrible support for a $4,500 product.

Hello Max,
I’m really sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve had and how frustrating this must feel—especially after the mower worked well in the beginning.
For issues like this, our normal process is: the first-level support team will do an initial check. If they determine the problem is more complex and cannot be solved directly, the case is then escalated to our field service engineers, and further to our R&D team if needed. This is the standard flow to make sure more complicated cases are handled by the right experts. In the meantime, the first-level support should keep you updated while it’s under review.
What’s not right here is that you went seven days without any solution or meaningful update. That should not happen, and I’d like to look into why this went wrong. Since we can’t find your case with just your ID, could you please share your ticket number with us? That way we can track it properly. Even if you’ve already decided to move on from Yarbo, your experience is important for us to improve.
As for returns, we do have a 30-day money-back policy and always respect it. Sometimes we try to solve the issue first so you have the full picture before deciding, but if you request a refund, we honor that request from the moment you first asked.
I completely understand your frustration. Both good products and reliable service are what we want to provide, and your feedback helps us get better.

Horrible tech-support, horrible customer service garbage machine do not buy
After trying to cancel before it even shipped Yarbo chose to “open a ticket” instead of canceling and rush shipped it to my house. Not only was the unit previously opened but there was a disaster of a time setting up. This all coming after trying to cancel and they still wouldn’t cancel and have unit picked up. Now. Two months later an almost 7000$ layer. The damn thing always breaks. Tech support opens a ticket and nothing ever happens. I’ve spent at least 12 hours in two months working on it. I could have bought a riding lawn mower and spend that time mowing my yard myself. On top of all this with the unit not working customer service crap technical support is crap. They always have excuse. Excuses still don’t have a refund or return going. They still haven’t shipped the accessories. I purchased with my original order that I was supposed to have in August. This company is full of crap they lie, cheat and steal, and make excuses why they can’t follow through with their obligations. If you bought or are planning on buying a autonomous mower, do it from a different company this company is shit.

Hi Rob,
I’m sorry for the unpleasant experience you’ve had so far. I understand how frustrating this must feel.
Just to clarify: when a customer requests a cancellation or refund, our standard process is to open a ticket and escalate it to the relevant team for approval. This is not meant to delay or block your request, but to make sure it’s handled correctly. In some cases, if the order is already in the shipping stage, it may get dispatched before the cancellation takes effect.
That said, waiting so long without clear updates and still not receiving your accessories is not the experience we want you to have. Since I can’t locate your support ticket with just the information here, could you please share the ticket number with us? This will allow me to check what happened and follow up directly with the right teams.
We do have a 30-day refund policy and always respect it. For the accessories, please let me know which ones are missing, and I’ll confirm with our logistics team.
We truly value your feedback. Both reliable products and reliable service are important to us, and your case will help us improve.

Was passiert ist – stark verkürzt:
Start: Mähscheibe bricht bei normalem Einsatz → Gerät wochenlang still, Ersatz extrem verspätet.
From day one the system was practically unusable. The first spare part arrived after more than a month. Then came constant cutter‑deck errors (“over‑current/adjust blade”), GPS dropouts, and later a power‑board/battery alarm. The replacement Core wouldn’t pair (neither app nor controller). We withdrew from the contract—Yarbo pointed to internal return policies instead of honoring basic warranty principles. Outcome: time sink, cost trap, no return. Our verdict: avoid.
What happened (short):
Start: Cutting disc broke under normal use → device down for over a month, spare part far too late.
After that: persistent cutter‑deck faults, stops on turning; GPS issues even in the open.
Later: battery/power‑board alarm.
Replacement Core: arrived but wouldn’t pair (no BT/Wi‑Fi; “Ready to work” and then nothing).
Net result: An entire season with more downtime than work. Our effort (troubleshooting, emails, teardown, stop‑gap measures) was orders of magnitude above the system’s output.
Yarbo’s handling:
Several repair attempts failed. After our withdrawal, no return, only policy/return‑window arguments. When customer protection should kick in, they stall.
Conclusion: Marketing claims (autonomy, reliability, service) were not met here. Until service, parts logistics and return practice are fixed, best to stay away.

Hi Matthias,
I’ve reviewed your support history to better understand your case. As we discussed in your ticket, our policy includes a 30-day return window. We apply this consistently to ensure fairness for all customers, so outside that window, we aren’t able to process a return.
That said, we want to keep you running and supported. As a gesture of goodwill, we send replacement units directly, so you have a working device right away instead of waiting for repairs. We remain responsible for any after-sales issues, and our team is here to help troubleshoot or replace parts whenever needed.
If you encounter any new issues or if there’s something still unresolved, please reach out—we’ll stand behind the product and work with you to get it sorted.
Thank you for your understanding.

Pretty sure this got released to the…
Pretty sure this got released to the public before it was ready. I’ve had nothing but problems and it’s been extremely time-consuming. I actually bought this thinking it would save me time on yardwork. I’ve spent more time with tech-support than I would have mowing. They are currently replacing the mower deck because it’s broken but if you don’t save the original boxes, they charge you for a box to ship it back in. I’ve tried to return it several times and they talk you into a meeting with tech-support which fixes the issue until the next time you try to use it and then it’s broken again
Response from YarboSep 26, 2025
Hello Mark,
I understand your concerns and I’m sorry the experience so far hasn’t met your expectations. Please know that we are continuously improving the product and we stand firmly behind it—when issues come up, our goal is to resolve them, not leave you struggling.
On the packaging point: a specific shipping box is required to protect the equipment during transport. That’s why, if the original packaging isn’t kept, a replacement box has to be provided and charged. This isn’t meant as an extra burden, but as a necessary step to make sure your unit arrives safely for service.
We appreciate you raising these points directly—it helps us improve. And if you encounter further issues, don’t hesitate to reach out; we will continue to support you and make sure the product works as intended.
