I just love this company! The candles themselves are wonderful - so many great scents to choose from and they smell so true to life. They make my home so cosy. Also great customer service - any time I've had an issue they've sorted it promptly. I just love Yankees.

I'm still waiting to be refunded for the candles I returned to Yankee Candles over a week ago, because (a) I didn't like the scent and (b) I had concerns about the warning notice that came with them, which stated that some of the ingredients might produce an allergic skin reaction if handled. I thought that if a candle could do that, then personally, I wouldn't want to vapourise the candle ingredients by lighting it in the first place. Yankee Candles received my candles a week ago. No update from them last week, so I emailed them on Wednesday to enquire about my refund. I'm unimpressed with the replies I received to my initial and subsequent emails. I'm left with the impression that achieving high levels of customer satisfaction isn't one of their aims. I just want my refund now. I would hesitate to buy another Yankee Candle product again.. Its a bit of a shame, as I like their "Woodwick" range. Hoping that another candle producer will market something similar, although I understand that that the wooden wick they use is patented and therefore can't be copied. If I don't get my refund by next Monday (being the two-week statutory deadline in the UK by which retailers must refund customers), I'm going to report Yankee Candles to Trading Standards UK. Hope it doesn't come to this...

kitted out my new apartment with new candles and found a range of scents themed with the colours and decor i chose. also make perfect gifts if you are undecided what to get for a relative/colleague, especially over the xmas period- fantastic range of scents to choose from.
