Please avoid club Wyndham like the black plague. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a timeshare company. The sales people will lie to you so that you will sign a contract and then not let you out of the contract!! I honestly don’t know how they can run a business like this!! Every time I went to the resort they forced you to sit through a presentation. Afterwards they make you sit down with a sales rep and ask you tons of questions. They constantly lie to you tell you things that you want to hear but they are not true! They will tell you that if you do this or that it will help bring your membership costs down. I signed up for the Wyndham rewards program because they said it would benefit me and that was a lie! I would have to spend thousands of dollars a month for it to have any kind of impact on my dues. I asked them what would happen if I changed my mind and wanted out of the contract. The salesman pulls out his phone and googles how to get out of s timeshare and shows it to us. He says all you have to do is send a letter to corporate telling them you want out and they will let you out. Well let me tell you that is a huge lie!! I even contacted Wyndham cares to tell them I was having financial issues and two times they told me they couldn’t do anything for me. I honestly don’t know how companies like this are still in business. I wish someone would shut them down. They lie to their clients constantly and get away with it. I wish I would have read some reviews before signing up with them. Please please PLEASE take my advice and stay away from this company!!! I have lost so much money and will probably never get it back.

We were both told to use the tablet to sign in order to get our gifts. Come to find out we applied for a morgage and a credit card!!! These are 2 hard inquiries!! We have been waiting for our inquiries to fall off next month so we can refinance our house and now we are both screwed for another 2 year. I cannot believe this! On top of it. We were told we could pick any place as the second 2 day vacation. The margaritaville in pigion forge is not on the list and it is why we did this whole thing. Not to mention the lady said we could pick a 2 day or a 6 day for the same price. Had I known that part that was going to be points based I would have absolutely choose 6. Now I'm stuck with 1 night that cost all 30000 points when it was suppose to be 2 nights anywhere. We are so upset about hitting our credit like that without any conversation but to "check in" We are so screwed! Cherry on top. Noone said I had to do it again when I go in 2 weeks when I am only there for one full day. This is insane

Not once but twice, has Wyndham deceived us into signing contracts with them within 4 months of each other. We’re beyond appalled with how Wyndham does business. We wanted out of our first contract, but they got us to sign a second contract by claiming they wanted to make our first experience right, and instead we didn’t realize we were signing an additional contract with them. Now we’re in debt double what we originally were because of this. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR SITUATION. You can tell them NO until you’re blue in the face, and they’ll keep at it with the high sales pressure. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THEMSELVES AND GETTING AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO SIGN UP WITH THEM. This is disgusting behavior on Wyndham’s part.

Our Las Vegas vacation in August 2022 took an unpleasant turn when we encountered Worldmark by Wyndham. We were promised free tickets to local attractions, all we had to do was to attend a 2-hour presentation. Horrifically, those 2 hours turned into 4 hours filled with high-pressure sales tactics and undisclosed costs. WorldMark failed to provide essential information and our credit was negatively impacted without warning. Communication attempts with them have been ignored. This company does not have your best interest at heart and seeing so many others posting similar stories. I cannot believe that they are allowed to continue to do business in this matter…or AT ALL.

mi experiencia ha sido terrible con esta compañía. he sido engañada y estafada , te venden sueños , lugares y hoteles increíbles pero cuando te das cuenta de los lugares que puedes ir con tus puntos te espantas ya que son los peores,los más mediocres y simples , todo es una trampa para enredarte en el contrato ,a mi y mi esposo después que firmamos nunca más nos llamaron ni para explicarnos como usar dicha membresía, son la peor empresa , yo espero que me liberen lo más pronto de este contrato y me devuelvan mi dinero ESTAFADORESSSSSS

Comparto esta reseña para contar nuestra terrible experiencia con Wyndham. En el mes de abril del presente 2023, fuimos secuestrados por empleados de Wyndham que nos obligaron a comprar un tiempo compartido. A pesar de nuestra negativa, nos mantuvieron cautivos durante más de cinco horas hasta que finalmente nos forzaron a firmar. Pronto descubrimos que todo era un fraude para robarnos dinero. Nuestra historia con Wyndham comenzó en abril cuando aceptamos una oferta para asistir a una presentación a cambio de una semana gratuita de hospedaje y boletos para un parque temático. Durante la presentación, nos presionaron para comprar puntos de vacaciones, prometiendo que sería más económico y fácil de usar. Pero resultó ser todo lo contrario. El contrato se firmó rápidamente, sin tiempo para leerlo, y en inglés a pesar de nuestra dificultad con el idioma. Nos aseguraron que podríamos cancelar esa compra en cualquier momento y que podríamos alquilar o vender fácilmente el tiempo compartido, lo cual resultó ser falso. Deseamos salir de este contrato de tiempo compartido que aún no hemos podido utilizar. Es complicado y más costoso de lo prometido. Esperamos una pronta respuesta y una solución adecuada por parte de Wyndham. ¡Cuidado con Wyndham! No caigan en su engaño y eviten esta pesadilla.

I am completely dissatisfied with my experience as a timeshare owner with Wyndham Resorts. Wyndham is a far cry from Shell Vacations, which I was a happy owner since 1996, but that all changed when Wyndham bought Shell. As far as I am concerned, Wyndham is a cockamamy scam. After the company's purchase of Shell Vacations Club, promises of an improved ownership experience and access to more locations turned out to be empty words. Our elite status was downgraded, and our discounted privileges were no longer honored. We demanded the termination of our contract without additional penalties or negative impact on our credit history, which was ignored. They made me jump through endless hoops to get my ex-wife off the contract and then never came through. Now my kids and grandkids will be saddled with an enormous debt when I pass away. Wyndham is a heartless company and I hope no one else gets stuck in the same situation.

Our disastrous trip to Las Vegas turned into a financial nightmare we can't shake off, no thanks to the Wyndham timeshare sales sharks. Beware of Wyndham's deceitful sales practices when it comes to timeshares and unresponsive customer service. What seemed like a chance to get Cirque du Soleil tickets at a discount, quickly turned into a never-ending sales pitch to get us to buy a timeshare. The salesperson bombarded us with personal questions and pushed us to buy, ignoring our persistent declination to buy. They even used emotional manipulation, reminding me of my deceased brother. Very low of them! Desperate to escape and after a bunch of lies, we finally caved. Little did we know we were signing us up for a lifetime of debt. The contract, rushed through and poorly explained, concealed the lifelong commitment and hidden penalties. To add insult to injury, they ran a credit check without permission and applied for a credit card on our behalf. How is this legal??? When we decided to have our concerns addressed, customer service vanished into thin air. Our pleas for help went unanswered, and they conveniently "forgot" to send us a usable contract. Maintenance fees were charged early, and the salesperson conveniently disappeared. Fed up with their shenanigans, we blocked our card and refused to pay another dime. Wyndham's staff, masters of evasion, never bothered to address our concerns. We've had enough of their lies, half-truths, and the things they conveniently forgot to mention. Save yourself the headache and avoid Wyndham like the plague. Their deceptive sales tactics and abysmal customer service make them a nightmare, not a dream vacation. Take our cautionary tale to heart and steer clear of this circus. If this were a review on the best corporate fraudsters, they’d definitely get 5-stars!
