Beware of Wyndham's deceitful tactics! My encounter in July, turned into a nightmarish sales trap. Promised River Walk tickets for a presentation, I was subjected to high-pressure manipulation by their salespeople. They exploited our family's aspirations, concealed fees and obligations, and ignored our financial constraints. The relentless pressure led to signing, only to discover hidden costs and rushed explanations by one of their closers. Wyndham's lack of transparency, deceptive sales tactics, and disregard for honesty left us financially burdened and deeply disillusioned. Dreams of going to Rome and the Virgin Islands have been crushed thanks to Wyndham. I urge everyone to steer clear of this company's unethical practices. Termination of our contract is the only just solution. Don't let their tactics trap you too. How does Wyndham get away with this? Clever loopholes and wordy gimmicks. No matter what they offer, don’t go to their sales meetings. It’s not worth it. Look at what other people are saying, this is clearly a scam! The government needs to step in and stop these crooks. I look forward to seeing the day they shut this racket down and I get my money back. I never would have agreed to anything if they didn’t outright lie. Shame on Wyndham and their sleezy tricks!

I have been an owner with Whyndham for the past 18 yrsand it wasn't until my last upgrade in December where they have shown their true colors. AT the last meeting I was practically detained where they would not let me go until I purchased more points. They kept me there for over 3 hrs with several salespeople bombarding me with an overload of false information. They lied to me about receiving rental income, it being a deeded property, and that this was an investment. I would expect that being an owner for 18 yrs would mean I would be treated withrespect and not lied to about every little thingin the update meeting. Enticed by the idea of a serene retreat, my wife and I were lured into a trap of deception. Alexandria Ayers and Madison Van Brow, the architects of our disappointment, presented a facade of benefits that quickly unraveled. Endless persuasion and tours led to a purchase based on lies. The promise of transferring ownership to our family and exclusive access to Wyndham Resorts proved hollow when we struggled to secure bookings. COVID-19 exacerbated our woes, rendering our timeshare useless. Our investment in "real estate" turned out to be a mere point system, while APRs for the loan and credit card were shockingly omitted from discussions. Customer service was an abyss of misinformation and delays, with the fictional buyback program leading to nowhere. In a concise verdict, Club Wyndham's presentation preys on dreams and delivers nightmares. Spare yourself the heartache, frustration, and financial drain. I’ve been an owner with Wyndham since 1999, and ever since 2019, when I was manipulated into upgrading, is when everything had turned for the worse. When I initially started this ownership, I could use the timeshare how it was meant for, but since the upgrade everything with Wyndham seems like its one big sham! I wasn’t even made aware that I was upgrading! No one said anything to me about signing a new contract – I was under the impression that I was using my initial account, but Wyndham hoodwinked me into this new contract, and is now unwilling to make their wrongdoing right. I want no further part in being in an owner with them! Especially if this is how they treat people! This ‘new’ contract cost me tens of thousands of dollars. Wyndham committed an act of fraud and took full advantage of me! I want this contract relinquished ASAP!

Oh, where do I even begin? My experience with Wyndham has been a never-ending nightmare, and I feel so utterly desperate and trapped. We never wanted this timeshare in the first place, but their manipulative sales tactics and emotional manipulation got the better of us, and now we’re stuck in this mess. From the moment we attended that dreadful presentation in Panama City Beach, Florida, I knew something was wrong. They practically held us hostage, taking our IDs and making it impossible for us to leave. The sales representative, Rosita, bombarded us with lies and false promises, and against our better judgment, we fell for it. The promises made during that presentation turned out to be nothing but smoke and mirrors. We were assured that we could pay off the loan at our own pace, but what do we get instead? Surprise credit cards opened in our name, wreaking havoc on our credit score. It's like they have no regard for our financial well-being and are only interested in squeezing every last penny out of us. And let's not forget about the points! Oh, the points they promised would cover all our vacation lodging needs. But no, those points turned out to be utterly useless, and when we tried to book vacations, we were met with disappointment and frustration. It's like they enjoy dangling false hopes in front of us, only to crush them mercilessly. Customer service? Ha! What a joke! Every time we tried to access our account or resolve an issue, we were met with incompetence and indifference. They don't care about us as customers; they just want our money. We were sold a dream, and instead, we're living a nightmare. If anyone out there is considering dealing with Wyndham, please, I beg you, reconsider! Save yourself from the desperation and heartache we are going through. Don't let their flashy presentations and false promises blind you. They will take advantage of your vulnerability and leave you feeling helpless and desperate.

My recent experience with Worldmark representatives in Las Vegas was nothing short of a nightmarish ordeal. The dishonesty and high-pressure tactics employed during the timeshare presentation left me feeling defrauded and deeply disappointed. Despite expressing my disinterest, I was relentlessly pressured into purchasing a timeshare, lured by false promises of covering work conference stays and the ability to sell back my points. The subsequent contract review was rushed, and pertinent information was withheld.  Upon returning home, I discovered my points were insufficient to cover stays, and availability was severely limited. Attempts to sell back the points were met with further deception, adding to my frustration.  Do not allow this company to bully you into a contract and fall victim to their unethical and deceitful practices.

Wyndham preyed on our adolescence and tricked us into buying a timeshare with them. My wife and I are young and just relocated to Texas for our new military duty station. We decided to walk around the Riverwalk Mall, and we were approached by a Wyndham employee. They offered us a free dinner along with a free boat tour as long as we sat through their 45-min presentation. To make a long story short, unlike their presentation, we were scammed into purchasing a timeshare. They praised the benefits and low traveling costs to us for 3 hours. Little did we know they were withholding important financial information that would hurt us in the future. In the short amount of time, we have owned with them, we have been hit with so many hidden fees and are paying beyond the initial price discussed during the signing. We are college students/active military, this is the last thing we should be worrying about. Club Wyndham is filled with manipulators who have nothing better to do other than take people’s money.

I can't believe that this company is allowed to be publicly traded! Lies after lies when they try to sell you something. They will provide you dozens of papers with tiny details hidden between them and then they will rush you into signing those documents - you don't even get enough time to read through those dozens of papers. Once signed, that's when they will start finding ways to steal your money! That's the kind of SCAM business they are running. They stole about $4000 from us! I will never forget that!
