Our experience with Wyndham Resorts…
Our experience with Wyndham Resorts timeshare has been nothing short of disappointing. After attending their sales presentation in August 2022, we discovered that nearly everything presented was either misleading or completely false. The salespeople made numerous promises that turned out to be untrue. They claimed points would roll over at no charge and emphasized easy availability of properties, yet we couldn't even book a single week at their lowest-tier resort. Promised access to Disney properties? Another empty promise. The financial aspects were equally misrepresented. We were assured maintenance fees would remain flat – they didn't. The credit card terms and financing options presented were far from reality. They even made false claims about inheritance terms that could affect our family's future. Perhaps most frustrating was their promise of additional vacation weeks outside the Wyndham system. Like everything else, this proved to be another deceptive tactic. When we attempted to book during holidays, we encountered significant discrepancies in our point balance, contrary to everything we were told about rollover policies and point accumulation. The sales presentation was clearly designed to pressure potential buyers with misleading information. Their representatives made grand promises about availability, benefits, and financial terms – none of which matched reality. This appears to be a systematic approach to sales, using deception to secure contracts. My advice: Stay far away from Wyndham timeshare presentations. The promises made in these high-pressure sales environments don't align with the actual product. Save yourself the stress, money, and disappointment we experienced. I strongly urge potential buyers to thoroughly research and verify any claims made during these presentations. Our experience suggests their sales tactics rely heavily on misrepresentation and pressure to close deals.
