Withheld funds
This company for over 3 years has held back funds that were promised to be able to be retrieved at anytime. This company continues to offer other bonds and under no circumstance should anyone use Worthy bonds. DON'T PUT ANY MONEY IN WORTHY BONDS.
Response from Worthy FinancialSep 24, 2025
Hi Ryan. While the original terms allowed for liquidity, each investor was required to consent to the bond purchasing agreement, which clearly outlined that repayment was subject to the performance of the underlying assets and that risk of loss existed. Worthy was forced to pause redemptions in response to delayed borrower repayments during and after the pandemic, which left those early portfolios without the liquidity to process redemptions on schedule. The company is actively pursuing collections and has executed an agreement to sell unrelated assets to generate the capital needed to move redemptions forward. The reason Worthy continues to sell bonds is that these more recent offerings are real estate related, were not impacted by the pandemic, and have not incurred a single loan loss. They are unrelated to the early business bond offerings. We understand how frustrating this pause has been and remain focused on resolving it. Thank you for your continued patience.
