My only complaint is that I have had quite a bit of money tied up in Worthy Peer Capital and Worthy Peer Capital II, that I cannot access, due to the people that they loaned the money to, not being able to pay it back. It has been a few years now that it's been in accessible. Hopefully I get it back someday. Going through a divorce and not having access to this was a serious strain on my life. I guess just be very careful about investing here even though it sounds so good. There are other alternatives with rates a little lower but at least you will still have access to your money if you need it. I do also have some money in worthy property bonds that I have not had any issues with up to this point.

Worthy Bonds is a good site that you can get 7% on your money, but the downside is that when a bond you have closes due to borrowers not being able to pay their loan, then the bond is sold, and you can not get your money. I have like 5 bonds that I have $75 and I can not withdraw the money.

Hello Ken. The illiquid bonds were part of Worthy’s first offerings in 2018-2022; those bond sale proceeds backed loans to fund American small businesses. These investments generated the advertised return until the unprecedented COVID pandemic significantly impacted the ability of the small businesses to repay their loans to Worthy. As is well-known, small businesses were deeply impacted by the pandemic, with many around the globe even declaring bankruptcy. As a result, Worthy was forced to pause redemptions on a small percentage of remaining bonds in these business offerings. It remains the intention of Worthy to make our customers whole. Efforts are underway to sell unrelated assets, the proceeds of which we anticipate covering the redemption of all outstanding bonds. We appreciate your continued patience in this matter and hope to have some good news for you.

Easy to set up account and purchase bonds. App is pretty basic, but user friendly. I bought several prior to 2019 which were set to mature after 3 years. In 2022 Worthy put a "pause" on redemption, citing trouble collecting from debtors. It is now 2025 and these bonds are still on pause and I have not been able to redeem. There has been little communication or updates on their efforts to settle their debt. I would not trust this as a stable investment.

Hi Sara, we appreciate your feedback on our platform. We apologize for the limited communication regarding the illiquidity–we’ve done our best to keep affected bondholders informed, but there are regulatory restrictions on what we’re able to share outside of our public filings. We understand how the apparent lack of new information can be frustrating. We encourage you to reach out to our Client Engagement team any time you’d like to check on the status of your investment, either via in-app chat or by email. But please know we continue our collection efforts (and in fact, Worthy made a disbursement last week to some affected bondholders). Thank you for your continued patience.

I've been a Worthy customer since 2020 and was initially pleased with the high interest rates they offered. However, when I recently tried to withdraw my funds, they were unable to return the entire amount and only gave me back my principal. They sent an email stating that due to the current illiquidity of their portfolio, they must delay the redemption of my bonds. They cited the pandemic and supply chain issues as reasons for some of their borrowers' inability to meet their repayment obligations. When I followed up asking where the rest of my money was, they said they were unable to provide an ETA and that they were exploring alternative financing options. I am frustrated and disappointed by this situation. It is not my problem if their borrowers are defaulting. As they advertise their funds to be liquid, I should be able to withdraw my entire savings with them at will and when I need it. Now, I am stuck and unable to execute on certain plans because they are withholding the money that is rightfully mine. If I were to consider that money a "lost cause," then I invested my principal with them for 3+ years with $0 return. This is unfair and unacceptable. I would caution anyone considering investing with Worthy!

2.5 stars: WRT withdrawals from 1st two bond offerings (as mentioned in other posts here), from what I have read they are paying "as able" loosely based on maturity date. That said, however, they stated they are still looking into financing options, as that will be the only way they can cover w/drawals for the 1st two offerings. The shortfall is based on companies defaulting on them with main issue cited as pandemic/supply chain and resulting bankruptcies. If you are inclined, search out Reddit posts as well.

On their website, I got sold on the good marketing with photos of happy people with bubbles next to it saying "save for buying a car", "save for wedding", "save for buying home" etc. But what is not clearly mentioned on the website is, "due to extreme circumstances, we are pausing all withdrawals". I was not able to withdraw when I had a big home project come up. I haven't been able to withdraw any money since Aug 2022 and counting. It lets you invest but doesnt say it wont let you withdraw when you need it the most.

Dear Jignesh, We apologize for the frustration you have experienced with regard to withdrawing your funds from the Worthy Peer Capital offering for your home project. Please know that as of this past December, we've begun routine disbursements of WPC funds to redeem remaining bonds in that entity. These funds are being released in order of maturity date, as well as by date of withdrawal requests, and we use this information to make sure that everyone is appropriately prioritized. It is important to note that the scenario you reference here is only affecting a small number of customers from one of our earliest offerings, and none of our many other offerings are experiencing this delay - each offering is a separate legal entity with its own dedicated loan portfolio (this is why you still see language on the website referencing bonds can be withdrawn at any time). Your experience does not represent the presently available offerings provided through our app, such as Worthy Property Bonds. We understand your distress and we assure you that we are working diligently to make repayments on the bonds that remain. We apologize for this negative experience you have had with us and we hope that we can earn your trust back once your bonds are redeemed and that we will have the opportunity to serve you again in the future. Please note that your money has been earning interest even after the pause and we’re committed to continuing to make distributions as often as possible. Sincerely, Worthy Financial

Invested my hard earned dollars, they've paused withdrawals for the foreseeable future. It appears they are attempting to mitigate too many pulling funds, they've also been waiting nearly a year for SEC approvals to sell more bonds. Waiting game now, they've yet to provide an update. Last communication was 8/22, it's now 10/15.
