Unable to recommend the platform at this time.
There is an inherent risk when dealing with REIT bonds, this platform was to make the process easier. They remove the direct exposure, but the con is you do not see where your investments are being allocated. As a result there is no way to tie back your investment, its a pooled experience. I have been invested for 2+ years, they have now paused withdrawals as of 8/22. They have advised they have enough liquidity to cover the current balance of bonds, liquidating bad loan holders and are working to secure additional capital. They have multiple entities (bond options) to invest in, the first set of their bonds are the issue. I can't recommend the platform until they navigate this crisis with some success. Their support has been responsive, they are attempting to be transparent, but I believe there needs to be a 30-60-90 day update to investors. This was not advertised as a risk free investment, but was promoted as a safe way to build your savings through "bonds". Unfortunately, many investors may lose their entire investment during one of the worst economic downturns in this lifetime over a meager 5% return. If these actions result in a positive outcome, I will return to update my review.
