We were first introduced to Wyndham when we were offered gifts to attend a presentation. Once there, we were in a packed room with no ventilation for over 5 hours. We were not interested in the rep’s talking points about supposedly affordable travel opportunities, but they just kept making different offers. It was then that they tricked us into taking out a loan for the purchase, reassuring us that our bank could refinance it to pay at a lower interest rate. Upon our return home, we found this wasn’t true. Plus, the “rewards program” they signed us up for was actually a credit card. We would never have agreed had we known they’d do that, or that they would constantly harass us by phone to buy more points. Don’t make a purchase with Wyndham that you’ll surely regret!

I purchased my ownership in 1995 and have increased the amount I own over the years. I understand costs go up and I can live with that. The rules are constantly changing, making it harder to use your credits. This year, they instituted new fees for family members or friends to use the points you paid for and pay maintenance dues on. If your guest's plans change, they KEEP the fees. Outright STEALING! I always loved my membership and encouraged others to buy in. Not anymore. DO NOT BE SCAMMED...STAY AWAY!

Less then one star if it was possible. Stay away from worldmark!

Does ANYONE know how to sell timeshare? Would love to rid our lives of these maintenance responsibilities.

Sitting her on hold. Minute 19. Decided to write a few reviews while I am waiting. After I get off hold, I don't expect any better service than I am receiving now. Timeshare companies are the worst. Their website looks like it hasn't been updated since 2012. I am sure that if I had pressed the number saying I wanted to purchase a timeshare my wait time, now at minute 24, would be very short. I think I will call and test that now . . . You should treat your customers the same before and after the purchase.

So glad we didnt sign on for the lifetime plan. We did the 2 year plan to test the waters.... So far we have used our wyndham 3 times. Each time having issues..... 1st time facility was disgusting and not the same as when booked online... 2nd time facility was half the size of online booking. When asked why they have us a poor answer about online booking is only similar and can be different when arriving.... 3rd time facility was closed even after confirming 2 days before arrival.. impossible to cancel so now we just ride out what we owe and never go back. Feel like we were lied to and are being stolen from at this point. If I could pay it off sooner and be done with it I would.... what a joke.

I've been an owner, for 14 yrs and worldmark, in my estimation, especially after becoming affiliated w/ Wyndham has gone from 5 STARS to ZER0.

I have been a WM owner for many years now. I have typically had good experiences staying on their properties. Definitely stay away from their sales pitches you get bombarded with upon each arrival. I've gone to a couple of them and it has always been an awful experience. 2nd time they promised me it wasn't the "old" sales pitch but an owners update. It was still the same high pressure sales pitch. Just today, I received in the mail a notice from a collection company stating my maintenance dues were late and they were hired to collect them. They are asking for $75 collection fee, late fees and interest! Sorry, but during these times I did overlook paying my maintenance fees. We can't even use the resorts during the COVID pandemic... I called the WM billing dept and they were absolutely no help. They stated it was just an automatic system that sends your fees to collections if you are over 60 days late. I asked the rep why wouldn't WM like so many other companies stop the collections aspect to their business during these times? Her response was they have to pay their bills too. I then asked being we just received this collections notice if she could reach out to the company and pull it from their collections list and I could pay the dues today. She stated that if they did that for me they would have to do that for every WM owner and that would defeat the purpose of sending anyone to collections. Thats some GREAT customer service! LOL Just a couple of years ago if you had forgotten to pay your dues they would make it so you couldn't book any stays until they were paid. And to top it all off our maintenance fees are inflated each and every year Ive been an owner. I miss the old days, when WM treated their owners like family...
