We have been WorldMark owners for twenty+ years. WorldMark was our favorite of six different timeshare ownerships we had. Until it wasn’t. Until Wyndham acquired WorkdMark and proceeded to degrade the WorldMark vacation experience. The upkeep, the amenities, the owner benefits have all continually declined at the WorldMark resorts since Wyndham took over, even though the maintenance fees keep increasing. Wyndham also acquired RCI. Not only am I unable to log into our WorldMark account since they completely changed the functionality of the website, but I can no longer log into our RCI account. WorkdMark supposedly was going to take steps to resolve my issue with their website, but they have failed and neglected to do so for the past two years. Our most recent stay at a WorldMark resort was in November 2024 but our issue with being unable to log in to our WorldMark account persists. Wyndham has ruined WorldMark.

Low quality resorts mostly. This is an outsiders perspective, as my wife purchased platinum rewards a long time ago and I just tag along to the various locations. Over the years I’ve seen quite a few WorldMark resorts and they are usually very much the same and some are poorly managed. They have the same equipment in most units so at least you know what to expect. The problem is that the equipment is usually the cheapest quality possible. Let’s take the dishwasher. We are currently staying in a unit in Arizona and despite it being functional it washes so poorly we have to run it 3-4 times to get things clean. Another issue is that you cannot book a particular room in most venues so sometimes you end up overlooking the parking lot. I’ve calculated it once and for the money spent we could easily book 4 star hotel rooms, resorts, or AirBNB. It’s really a suckers purchase (although I’m not telling my wife that - I did share the calculation with her). Another thing is the continuous pushing to attend their sales pitches. I’ve been to one (I’m not an ‘Owner’) and refused to go after that. It’s just a terrible experience to go through. We unplug the phone and don’t answer the door as they keep on insisting. From a hotel perspective it’s about 2 to 3 stars (there are some rare nice resorts, for example in Florida). But it’s not up to my standards generally and sometimes just pretty bad. Another thing is that it’s not entirely my crowd. Just imagine Red Lion hotels. But that’s just me personally. Yeah I’m a little of a snob.

I have called multiple times for an automatic charge on my credit card for monthly fees and dues, since I have left the wyndome company. 105.94 has been charged since Aug. when I gave back my condo to them for free. I paid 20,000 in 2018 and dues every month since. I am now requesting recovery of dues owed to me since Aug.2024 cancellation. Last bill was 10/22/24 Dianne Kendall

Late reaction: Yesterday on my first Cardiologist app had a bad news for me. I just realize new expenses with Wyndham contract sign on July 24 2024 I called and explain "Please cancelled just 10 days later" they won't let me go no matter what, they just want the money and don't care anything else I'm not working & not be able to make payments like I used to; this is insane I need to find and attorney is someone knew a good one to file a sue to this company thanks in advance. If someone from Wyndham will be able to help me exit the program that will be amazing.

I've been a member since 2004. I've had a good experience for the most part with reservations, helpful staff, quality of resorts. But this year I've received at least 2-3 "you're 30-60 days late with payment notices. Getting hold of a human to pay the charges is next to impossible. I don't get any invoices or notifications so that I can timely pay a bill that is coming due. I just get DUNNING notices after the fact with a nice fat LATE CHG added. The number they put on the notice doesn't even work, and they lock you out of your account, so you can't pay your bill that way either. It SUCKS! Worldmark is the only company I have this problem with. So it ain't me baby!

I have been an owner of WorldMark since 2000 and it has worked very well for our family. However, it has gone downhill since Wyndham has taken over. Especially the website. It is always down and even when it is up it kicks you out randomly and is so hard to navigate. It has been over a year with the new website and they still haven’t figured it out. So frustrating!! Fix it Wyndham!!!

Wyndham property has a whole I would give good ratings, but the Sales team practices are terrible. I have attended several presentations, as a Discovery member, and never had a problem walking away and not signing up because I knew it was not in my best interest. When I attended the presentation in Nashville I told them why I don't become a member and they said if I sign with them they can get me what I want, so I did sign the agreement. The next day I was uncomfortable with my decision because I made it under the pressure of running out of time (we had another couple waiting impatiently for us) and I didn't do the research I would have liked to, so I asked to cancel to contract. The Sales Rep talked me into waiting and to take some time to think about it, never giving me a timeline to work with. I did that and discovered that they were not going to give me what they said they would and denies they ever said they could. He flat out LIED to make his sale. I attempted to cancel and they said it was too late. I called a couple different numbers and wrote a letter asking for someone to talk to me about my concerns, but I never got a response. Word to the wise: If you go to a presentation RECORD THE MEETING!
