bank” doesn’t deserve to be called a bank, and certainly not one for professionals
Following the creation of my company, I decided to open a business account with WIO Business, based on my accountant’s recommendation. Unfortunately, the process was a complete nightmare. I was asked to provide an endless list of irrelevant documents that had absolutely nothing to do with opening a simple business account. Whenever I contacted WIO’s customer service, I always got the same generic response: “your request is under review and will be approved shortly.” Four weeks later, instead of progress, I was still being asked ridiculous questions such as: “Do you have a storage facility? Who are your clients? Can you provide bank statements for the last 6 months?” — which makes no sense at all for a newly created business. In short, this so-called “bank” doesn’t deserve to be called a bank, and certainly not one for professionals. They are incompetent, unprofessional, and clearly have no understanding of what online business banking should be.
