I have an euro account. When I spend with the card in euro you charge me in AED with dirty FX fees. Tried to call and write you. No answer. Worst customer service ever. Waiting for Revolut to enter UAE and kick you out of the games.

WIO not recommend
My experience with WIO has been extremely poor. On three separate occasions, incoming payments were blocked despite all required documents and proofs being submitted. I had to call WIO multiple times from Europe, which cost me over 800 AED in phone charges, not to mention the time and stress involved.
I was promised a callback, which – to this day – never happened.
Latest issue over a week, no one at WIO has been able to resolve a simple technical issue. I’ve been calling and emailing every day, constantly having to repeat the same information. No one truly listens – instead WIO support team follows a script or handbook. Tickets are being closed without any resolution.
As a business customer, time is money. My clients expect invoices to be paid on time, and WIO has put me in an embarrassing position.
I have not received any compensation from WIO for the inconvenience, the cost of international calls, or the additional administrative burden caused by your failures.
In summary, for 99 AED in monthly fees and this level of poor service, my conclusion is simple:
WIO – NOT Recommended

Appalling customer service!
Quite possibly a close contender for the worst and most incompetent customer service! This is a digital bank so please tone down any customer relationship expectations and limit to essential online transactions only. They offered customers 6 months Talabat Pro subscription, charged for it and then backpedaled citingT&C’s. WhatsApp and call support is not empowered to deal with even small matters of Aed 29 and go about their scripts like robots.

APP blocked me out of the blue
Opening the account was kinda OK, debit card came by courier (with ID check). BUT just now the app asks me to confirm / update details such as UAE residential address, total income, (expected) in and out going monthly transaction volume (with percentage in cash), tax residencies in other countries with TIN, source of funds (4 options to chooses from) - not too difficult if one has those details at hand, BUT: if you don't enter them you CAN NOT access the app; NO SKIP-BUTTON, no grace period. THIS IS A TOTAL NO-GO !!!
Imagine one has to quickly do something simple, like check if a payment has arrived OK while being on the phone with the payer and can only say "sorry, my bank's APP has blocked me".
I'd advocate WIO getting fined for bringing such shame over banking in the UAE.
