Customer support used to be good. Steadily declining. They no longer give personal support on specific issues and now are difficult to reach with a paid line (used to be free) Easy to use app, no glitches and very fast. Technically proficient Good for multi currency spending and travelling, seamless and innovative credit card to debit card system. cheap global atm withdrawals and genuinely multi currency cards. There are better and cheaper ways for serious investors to exchange major currency and invest in the whole UAE markets such as regulated brokerages. However they do offer a good platform for individual stock equity investing in DFM and ADG They also support remittance of minor currencies but for this, try Noon/Careem instead of banks if you have a bonus membership subscription. They also do not offer currency exchange for physical cash 3 stars but deserves 4 relative to competition

Very impressed with WIo so far. Low commission trading of US and UAE stocks. Smart portolios. Low currency conversion fees and transfer fees low too. What is not to like so far:)

Overall it has been a great experience. Yes, they have issues, but I have been happy overall. Only negative is they don't let you keep your account once you leave the UAE (unless you keep your UAE ID)

I've been using Wio Bank for a little over a year now. I'm. very pleased with them. I find their customer support always answers my issues. I was a customer of Emirates NBD for 20 years. Emirates NBD just suck at customer service....it's a completely alien concept for them. I intend to continue with Wio. Just a note. Banks have notoriously poor customer service globally. Particularly in the UAE. I do think Wio is a cut above.

Let’s be honest the banking experience in the UAE is not the best. I tried to open a business account at many of the bigger banks, but they made it incredibly difficult. WIO opened my business bank account in less than 3 days. It’s early days, but my experience with the entire UAE banking sector as been incredibly negative. I appreciate KYC and AML, but you cannot expect someone to start a business and then take 6 months to open an account. I applaud Wio for trying to shake things up and make the process to open an account easy. Let’s see how the longer term banking experience goes…..
