Accused of being Dishonest
We ordered RTA Cabinets on Sep 9th. The delivery was a little delayed. We were given 5 days to inventory and submit a claim if there were issues. We discovered several issues and two missing pieces. We submitted a claim within the specified period and just received a replacement for the defective items Oct 13th. However, the missing items were NOT included with that shipment. Upon notifying customer service in writing (email), I received a response insinuating that we were being dishonest. I responded to that email stating that I did not appreciate that insinuation, and the email response completely ignored that. I think 2 stars is generous considering our order went in Sep 9th, and we still do not have everything. We sometimes flip homes on the side, and something like this could cost potential flippers thousands of dollars in carrying costs. I'm considering sending their CEO (Daniel Långsten) a direct message on LinkedIn.

Stephen, Thank you for your order and your review. The reason your delivery of replacement items was somewhat delayed was that we were in communication with you regarding the details. As you know, we provided prompt replies to your outreach and at one point you even wrote “Thanks for getting back so quickly!”. We certainly did not accuse you of being dishonest, or making any insinuations. We believe the e-mail you are referring to is the one where our Customer Service Manager wrote to explain that the reason that some of the items were not in your first replacement shipment was that they were on the pallet when shipped (based on the warehouse photos we have provided to you) and were not marked as missing on the delivery slip. We had sent you an e-mail 9 days prior to the one you referred to, where we asked you to double check the accessories reported as missing and if possible provide a photo from arrival if you could not find them. We also sent you the photo from our warehouse of the shipment when it left, showing a few of the items that you had reported as missing. As you did not reply to that, we (incorrectly) assumed you had found them. This request had nothing to do with any accusations – as the accessories are packaged in a separate tube as you could see on the photo, many customers accidentally misplace them or throw them away. If we have photographic evidence of the accessories missing on arrival (together with the evidence we have that we originally sent them), we can gain compensation from the shipping company. If we don’t, we have to cover the cost of the replacements as well as the extra shipping. Thus, this is a standard request we ask from all customers in similar situations. We hope that with this explanation (and the fact that you received all replacements you requested) we could alleviate your concerns and leave you with a better experience. We look forward to serving you again in the future. All the best, The team at Wholesale Cabinets
