I placed this order on 9/2, and still have not received any notification about it being shipped. I am very disappointed. I have been a customer of Whistle, since it was Tagg. Things break and need to be replaced. When we noticed that the attachment to our dog's collar was missing (fortunately, while the whistle was being charged) I went online to order the new plastic attachment. The website said they were out of stock. As we needed something to attach the whistle to his collar, I opted for what I thought was the fastest (if not more expensive) option, which was to just buy a new collar that had the attachment built in. It did not give me any idea on how long it would take to send me the collar before I placed the order. Only once it was placed, did it say it will ship in 12-14 business days. I am still waiting, and my dog is at risk of getting out and getting lost. I am not happy. This is not the customer service I am used to getting from this company.

We have been using Whistle since the very beginning, by being part of the beta test on the very first Whistle. I love the information and piece of mind it gives me regarding my pup. As long as I have a dogs, they will always be wearing a Whistle.

The new attachments for the Whistle Go Explore are not made very well. I had to use zip ties to attach the new attachment as it is limited on the size collar your dog uses unlike the previous models with the band. They should have not changed the size of the attachment part. I had to order a new attachment because the plastic broke off on my makeshift zip tie attempt. Just ordered the new hook and loop version they have. Wished they would have included this in the first place. I have been a loyal Whistle customer (previous 2 versions) but they missed the mark and changing the size and style of attachment on this one.

One of the original models that works great except for battery life of about 2 days. As I understand it, newer models have a much longer battery life which would now earn 5 stars.

Very pleased, I love the whistle product gives me peace of mind knowing where Jake is when I let him out to play. They stand behind their products! I recommend to all pet owners!!

I was an early adapter of whistle. Now my device is being phased out, new devices cost significantly more while delivering the same basic function. While traveling have found that the device significantly under performs in rural areas, which is exactly where you need it most being unfamiliar with the terrain. I don't really care about my pet's activity level just about where he is. I'm only buying a new device because I would kick myself if he got lost and I couldn't find him, otherwise there's not much benefit. In rural areas I've started putting GPS tracking chips in his bag, which work significantly better.

This is just what I was looking for. I use it for my kitten who has fallen in love with chasing moths and exploring the neighbors garages, but whom I worry about while she is out and about. With the whistle I can see where she is and be sure that she is safe, and if she is wandering too far or seems to be stuck somewhere I can go in search. It also notifies me when she comes home so I can rest assured. The only negatives I can say include 1. The device is a bit big for a small cat and 2. I can’t track her when she is on my WiFi network so I can’t pin point her if she is hiding up a tree or under the porch.
