I am very pleased with Whistle support. I have 3 cats who have tracking collars. Every once in a while, they lose their breakaway collars with whistle tracker attached. I write Whistle support often and never fail to get personal, attentive service back. Questions are answered thoroughly with professionalism and courtesy. What impresses me most is how Whistle Support constantly contacts me back to make sure everything is working to my satisfaction. I have to say I find this quite refreshing. Sometimes there are issues with the workings of the Whistle devices, but customer service ( namely, Sukhwinder S.) has always been there and has provided exceptional support. I have upgraded to the new Whistle product for all three cats and appreciate the discount code to make them affordable.

Whistle Go Explorer has way better battery time and for some reason GPS seems better.

Whistle changed the connection of their collars but doesn't show that when you're ordering replacement parts. The connection looks identical, but the new version doesn't fit the old style. They seem to be going for getting a few extra bucks by making you buy accessories again and again by making slight changes that don't really change the way the product works but nickle and dime's you. Now I've got collar attachments I can't use. If they were honest about the change they would have a They should have a notice on their page asking which style you need.

I wish there was the ability to sign into my account to order as I already have a subscription. The ordering process was very simple after that.

I'm disappointed ... sent message in a few days ago and have not heard anything back other than " automated " reply. We have purchased multiple products from them .. BUT have had multiple issues and attempted to obtain assistance :(

This product has great potential. I have recommended it previously to many people who want a simple to use and relatively easy to understand phone interface. Unfortunately the mechanism for attaching to the collar is extremely weak (I have lost two units), and fatally flawed. Worse yet, the latest, top of the line model, does not include the collar mechanism necessary to hopefully fix this design flaw.... get this, you have to order the collar separately for an extra $29.95. Not very clear on website, borders on deceptive. As proof of this poor description, I had to make two orders to get the entire product. We're getting into the price range where I could have just ordered a solidly designed and more functional Garmin tracker, when I look at the overall amount I have invested in Whistle products. The software interface was pretty clean, although all the iterations have left me with 2 versions on my phone that I can never figure out which I should be using. Who knows I could be paying multiple subscriptions too. We'll see how it goes transferring whistle 3 subscription to the go explore. I'm guessing this will involve even more of money and duplication of service (lose it, you still use it) from what I can tell.

My dog continues to escape my yard even with multiple upgrades to my 6 foot tall fence. I decided today to get the Whistle GO Explore in order to track him when he escapes. I wanted to sign up for the subscription at the same time as purchase but I could find no information about signing up for the subscription service. Their live chat and telephone customer service were both closed. I am assuming now that signing up for the subscription comes later after purchase but it would have been nice to get confirmation of this assumption prior to purchase.
