Beware of Westlake Financial. I financed a Cadillac Escalade with them. Everything was great. I paid on time for a year or two then I paid it off early years ago. I still have it with the free and clear title they sent me. Anyway I'm looking at buying a brand new Escalade and it shows on my credit report it was repoed. I did a dispute with Experian and other agencies. Well I called Westlake to see if they could report it correctly to the credit agency and they said no. Well the dispute came back unchanged too. Now I'm going to show my proof to someone until I get it fixed. Westlake will not fix it for me even though I was never late and paid it off years ago. I strongly recommend staying away from them and never doing business with them. They are a terrible company.

You don't matter the people here want to do what ever they want. The rep charged me without my consent then I argued with 3-4 more reps. Finally spoke with one or two nice people end result. They repossessed a car unlawfully then played games when it was time to pay them to get the car back I was hung up on twice today just for asking a simple question because the only way to make a payment is through MoneyGram and I needed the biller account number and they wouldn't even give it to me

I do NOT recommend Westlake Financial. They are terrible. Thank God I did not get a loan through them. Dealing with them was a total waste of our time. As someone else said in their review, they do not notate accounts so you have to repeat yourself many times and speak to many different people. They also lie to you. Eduardo Alva lied to us and told us he would come in on a Saturday to get our loan finished after I told him how frustrated I was that he did absolutely nothing he told us he was going to do and knew we took off work that day to get it done. The prequalification is way different than the actual approval as well. When he didn't do what he said he was going to do on Saturday, we went to a dealership and got approved for a nice BMW that day! It was a hassle-free experience that we wished we had done in the first place. We had no idea what SCUM Westlake Financial are.

Like everyone else our loan transerred here and They charging us to insufficent fee. This company is a scam needs to be shut down!!!
