NEVER USE THEM...THE WORST

I financed a 2016 F-150 through Westlake Financial Services, and I’ve had nothing but problems from the start. When I purchased the truck, I noticed it was smoking within 24 hours. I brought in a mechanic’s diagnosis, but Westlake refused to cancel my contract, saying it wasn’t the engine. Even the DMV confirmed that the vehicle wasn’t properly inspected, yet Westlake wouldn’t step in. Fast forward to my recent payment experience: I had already set up automatic payments about six days before my due date, but the payment didn’t go through. This left me past due, which wasn’t my fault. When I called in, I spoke with a representative (I believe her name was Melenia). She told me I might receive an NSF fee because I had entered the wrong account once, even though their system wouldn’t allow me to cancel or correct the payment after it was submitted. I explained that I just wanted to cancel the payment and use another card I had on file, while leaving the automatic payment set up for next month. Instead of calmly helping me resolve the issue, she got frustrated and matched my tone, escalating the situation further. A professional representative should have stayed calm and de-escalated. I eventually asked to speak with a manager, and was left on hold for over 10 minutes. Overall, I feel Westlake has poor customer service, unfair practices, and doesn’t stand behind their financing agreements in a way that supports customers. Between the truck issues at the beginning and the ongoing payment problems, I cannot recommend them.

Impossible to reach as all phone numbers lead to a poorly designed automated system. Evidently no humans work at Westlake! Totally out of touch with their customers as it appears intended!

If I could give this company NEGATIVE ZERO stars I would. 1st of all, they send you to a computer to talk. Its ridiculous, when you do reach someone, they keep transferring you. How in the world are they in business 🤔. I had a 5 year term with them, they charge you daily. I worked Overtime to pay it off in 1 year because they will rob you blind. Stay far far far away from them. I would rather mop the ocean or cook rice one by one than mess with them.

Estafa, robo y desonestodad. Devolvi un carro financiado hace 6 meses despues de tenerlo por 8 mil millas, en 4 meses me reflejaron un saldo fantasma. A la fecha no lo han subastado y hicieron el reporte a colessiones del total del vehiculo como si me ubiese robado. Me habia comprometido a pagar algun saldo negativo de la subasta. Pero les valio madre.

Tried to reach someone about my car being paid off,and why after Id paid it off is it still on my record and it doesnt show any updated payments even after 90 days. 1st I got the run around and I got transferred and transferred around and around. This was supposed to be the right department then this one!!! This company is a joke. I`m glad I paid these fools off so they cannot rob me of anymore funds. If you personally run into this situation. Do as I did and contact all the credit agencies yourself because Westlake will never do anything except hound you for money and be at your door waiting to impound your car if you miss one payment. Straight trash!!!

No person to talk to... just a computer Don't take the GAP Insurance.

Better trained staff is a must do. They tried to get a pay off amount on a vehicle lian that was paid in full over a year ago. I have my title along with invoice that shows $0.00 balance, yet they still tried. Very poor communication is an understatement. I would not advise anyone, no matter what the circumstances, not to EVER use this spam like company. Beware!!!
