Do NOT do business with Westlake. Avoid this bank like the plague. Not only is their app trash, but they will charge you fees left and right, their system doesn't work properly so expect duplicate charges and a migraine from hell if you have to work with their customer service. If you have the unfortunate circumstance of dealing with this bank and you do contact CS, if Taylor is who you get, run for the hills. absolute garbage employees and an even worse financial institution.

They texted me regarding an auto loan although I have not applied for a loan. They make it impossible to contact them over the phone. They are not trustworthy and hopefully anyone thinking of dealing with them finds this review

2 months to get title
Not only they pray on needy customers to offer ridiculous interest rates but worst part is even after paying off Auto loan you will not get title for 2 months. Over 7 -8 weeks just to release lien.

Negative 1-Star Review
Negative 1-Star Review: Westlake Financial Auto Department — Artificial Intelligence at Its Finest, Customer Service at Its Worst!
Westlake Financials Auto Department has managed to take customer service to an entirely new level of ridiculousness. They have an AI agent named Taylor who is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. Seriously, what exactly is the point of having an AI assistant if it can’t even transfer you to a LIVE HUMAN BEING when you need assistance?
Here’s what absolutely makes no sense: If you're late on your payment, or they need to speak with you regarding a matter, Westlake has no problem contacting YOU. However, when I need to contact THEM, suddenly reaching a human being becomes an impossible mission. Make it make sense!!!!
And don't think their live chat is any better. The representatives will copy and paste a generic script, direct you right back to Taylor, and essentially send you in circles. Ask to speak with a manager? Apparently, that's asking for too much. They’ll tell you they cannot connect you with management but quickly remind you that you can contact them through chat or email. Hahahaha! Oh, really? So, the same channels that haven't resolved the issue are supposedly my solution? Brilliant!
At this point, I'm convinced Westlake has confused automating customer service with eliminating customer service altogether.
Let's be clear: AI can be a useful tool when implemented properly. But using an AI agent as a barrier between paying customers and actual employees is absolutely ridiculous. Customers should not have to navigate an endless maze of automated responses just to ask a question, resolve an issue, or speak with someone who has the authority to help.
Here's a revolutionary idea, Westlake: BRING BACK HUMAN CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Give customers a simple option to press a number, request a live representative, and speak with an actual human being. You know, someone with a pulse who can listen, think critically, exercise judgment, and resolve problems instead of reading from a script.
And while you're at it, stop making it so easy to contact customers about matters relating to their accounts while making it so difficult for those same customers to reach YOU when they need assistance.
Customer service should work both ways. Consumers deserve accessibility, accountability, and the ability to speak with a real person when necessary.
Westlake Financial, your customers are not asking for rocket science. We're asking for CUSTOMER SERVICE. Apparently, that's become too much to ask.
Westlake, please stop making customers fight with Taylor and give us the option to speak with an actual human being. Because right now, your AI isn't solving problems—it's becoming one.
No Thank You for your time,

SCAMMERS AND SCUMBAGS
SCAMMERS AND SCUMBAGS. Stay away from Westlake Financial Services. They removed the “Principal Only” and “Additional Principal Amount” options from my account after I had been using them to make additional payments directly toward my principal. Now they can take extra money and apply it toward my next scheduled payment instead of allowing me to pay down my principal directly.
I have contacted them repeatedly and received completely conflicting explanations. One representative says it was a permanent compliance change, another says it is a system glitch, and they refuse to provide documentation supporting their claims.
DO NOT BUY THE SECUREONE WARRANTY EITHER. I paid $1,768 for it and had a terrible experience when I needed to use the warranty and later tried to cancel it and recover my money.
My experience with Westlake and SecureOne has been absolutely horrible. I would not recommend either company.

Worst loan experience I've ever had.
This company serviced my loan, which was needed at the time. However, the amount of robo calls I have recieved from them is straight up harassment, including getting calls at 6am on a weekend, just to remind me that I have a payment coming due in a week. To top it off, I am also pretty sure they sold my information with the amount of scam calls I started getting within a week after I got the loan. The customer service reps also belligerent and abusive, (shockingly so) to the point that I will never accept calls from them anymore. I just pay the bill and spread the word... never use this company. Rida a bike if you have to.

I spoke with an agent stated to her…
I spoke with an agent stated to her that my dad just passed away yesterday and that I wanted to skip a payment for the month of October now the agent didn’t tell me I have to call back closer to my due date so I told her let me speak to a manager I spoke to Francisco Barra told him the same situation and he’s telling me to call back towards my due date. The whole point is to stay current with my loan and then not pick up my vehicle. They want me to wait 20 more days to figure out what options I can have and how would I even know if those options are gonna work for me until that day and then for me not to be in good standings with him when I’m trying to prevent anything wrong from happening nobody wants to work with me then he wants to tell me well. I’m not a manager. I’m a supervisor same difference. Just sad don’t deal with this company as to they don’t care they want you to fail just sad especially when I’m trying to do the right thing to start in good standing!
