I have had nothing but wonderful experiences from the very beginning! When I had issues with bills from the hospital ( was being balanced billed) I sent them to WeShare and they immediately reached out to the hospital and got the issue resolved !
I am currently having trouble finding a rheumatologist. We have NONE in my town and my Dr sent a referel to the one I want to see~ their staff was not so pleasant~ said no they did take my insurance" I immediately reached out for help.. Always receiving replies about where they were in the process. Tiffany called me this morning further explaining what they were working on and took all of the information I gave her and assured me I would hear back after they contacted them! She was so professional and a such a blessing !! Highly recommend!!!

It’s taken me a while to figure the program out because they use different language and also because the medical system we are in doesn’t really like sharing programs primarily because UHSM doesn’t support things like abortions etc. We don’t have a lot of other options so have to stick with Corewell Health. That being said-as difficult as Corewell is UHSM is so kind and patient in how they work with them and with us. We are working on getting bills paid from over a year ago still but that’s Corewell. I really appreciate how UHSM is making calls on our behalf and just getting things taken care of. I’ve had many phone calls with them and not once felt dismissed or like an inconvenience.

strongly encourage anyone considering…
strongly encourage anyone considering WeShare to look elsewhere. My experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I cannot overstate how unprofessional, disorganized, and misleading this company has been.
The onboarding process was excellent. Representatives were friendly, responsive, and made the program sound comprehensive and straightforward. Unfortunately, my experience after enrolling has been the complete opposite. I asked multiple questions about my coverage before joining and was assured that certain services would be covered. After becoming a member, I discovered that what I had been told—and what was reflected in the onboarding materials—did not match what was actually eligible for sharing. The information presented during enrollment simply did not align with reality.
My biggest concern, however, is the complete lack of communication. In March, I had laboratory work performed that I was specifically told qualified under WeShare’s “Healthy Discount” benefit. Since then, I have received multiple bills for those services. I have submitted those bills to my assigned contact four separate times and followed up repeatedly. I have never received a response or even a confirmation that my documents were received.
I have also called the Member Services number that WeShare repeatedly encourages members to use. No response. I have texted my assigned representative, as instructed for faster communication. Again, no response. Weeks, and in some cases months, can pass without any acknowledgment. That level of customer service is simply unacceptable when members are relying on you to help resolve time-sensitive medical billing issues. I am now being threatened to be sent to collections, all because of their inability to file the bills and complete lack of accountability.
The problems don’t stop there. One of my healthcare providers has been attempting to submit claims since February without success. At the end of May, someone from WeShare finally responded to the provider’s billing department with a fax number. The provider promptly faxed the requested information, yet there was never any confirmation that it was received, leaving them to question whether the fax number even existed. To make matters worse, the claims submission information listed on WeShare’s website does not even match the information printed on my membership card, creating even more confusion for providers trying to work with them.
Another major frustration is the complete lack of transparency regarding your annual Member Care Health Share amount (essentially your deductible). There is no way to view your remaining balance through the member portal or app. Instead, members are instructed to email their assigned representative or Member Services to request that information, which is nearly impossible when neither responds.
Health sharing organizations require trust, transparency, and communication. In my experience, WeShare has failed on all three. When members are dealing with medical bills and unanswered claims, silence is not an acceptable response.
Finally, I find it especially disappointing that WeShare presents itself as a Christian organization centered on supporting one another. My experience has reflected the exact opposite. The values promoted during enrollment have not been reflected in the way my concerns have been handled or the level of care provided after becoming a member.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend WeShare to anyone. I will be leaving this program as soon as I am able, and I encourage others to carefully research their options before enrolling. Reliable healthcare coverage depends not only on the benefits that are promised, but also on honest communication, accurate information, and responsive support when you need it most. Unfortunately, those are the very things I found to be lacking.

Hi Izzy,
Thank you for sharing your experience and we want you to know your concerns have not gone unnoticed.
We want you to know that our team has been working on your case since we received your feedback last month. We've intervened to prevent your account from being sent to collections while your outstanding bills are being finalized and your submitted bills have been received and are currently in processing with your providers. We've also prioritized any bills that have exceeded standard processing timeframes for expedited review.
We want to acknowledge our communication fell short of what you deserved, and we take your feedback seriously. We're actively working on internal operations and processes to eliminate communication gaps.
Our team will continue to provide status updates and ensure timely resolution, and please let us know of any further questions or concerns.

Extremely Informative
Today’s call has been one of several in which WeShare Health has been beyond helpful as I transition to the new medical option. They are assisting with doctors, pharmacy questions, providing links to services and in general making the transition as smooth and seamless as possible.
