Awful!! It has been a nightmare! Most medical facilities, doctors, etc. have never heard of WeShare. To verify, it takes forever for that to happen, and we still haven't received answers at all! I have called WeShare so many times and have waited at least an hour for someone. My son paid a little over $1600 for 4 months and all we got was able to pay $75 to see a specialist. Couldn't find a facility that would take WEShare for an ultrasound. That was in May! AND we're STUCK with an $800 bill for blood work because the lab wasn't in-network (@ the doctor's office!). You have to check everywhere to see if they take WeShare. Nightmare!! We cancelled them today!!!

Hi Deb,
We’re so sorry to hear this. Waiting an hour on the phone, struggling to find providers who recognize WeShare, and then facing a surprise lab bill is not the experience we want for any member, and your frustration is completely understandable. We’d like our Member Care team to look at everything you went through, including the lab bill, and see what we can do to help. We couldn't identify you and directly reach out, but please call 800-900-8476 so we can assist you.

Would like to give zero stars
Update
After my review I was contacted by Kevin Pham with customer management. After discussing the situation I was refunded my application fee. I appreciate the company honoring the misinformation that I was given.
Would like to give zero stars. I spoke with Stephen Wilson. After a long conversation and giving my medical history I paid my $149.00 application fee. I was told if I was not accepted I would receive a refund. I was denied, was advised by Stephen to appeal which I did. Submitted more paperwork. Then submitted even more paperwork and was denied again. Stephen said he would appeal to another manager. After talking with Stephen and asking for the refund in both email and phone conversations and being told he would work on the refund, I am now told I am denied and again and will not receive the refund because I had an appeal and denial. Not very Christian. Feel I have been scammed. Wasted time with this and now am out the $149.00..
I will advise anyone that asked to avoid this company.

Hi Laura,
Hi Laura, we sincerely apologize for the confusion surrounding your denial and appeal process. After reviewing your case, we recognized there was a miscommunication that led to a misunderstanding about your refund eligibility. Because of that, we've decided to honor the refund of your application fee nevertheless, which is currently in process. We appreciate your patience and thank you for giving us the opportunity to make it right!

Exactly like every other insurance - 99% of what I need is not covered
WeShare could improve by giving a clear warning to their subscribers like myself: Warning - You can choose any healthcare provider or service you choose however we're more than likely to choose not to reimburse you for the services you have selected. See how easy that is? But they don't do that. So if you choose WeShare, just keep that in mind that the "sharing" they are talking about is only about you sharing your $$$ for your monthly premiums. That's where the sharing ends. Just be prepared to pay your premiums AND whatever medical expenses you encounter.

Hi Travis,
We're truly sorry to hear about your frustrations. We've done a thorough review of your account and have since communicated with you directly. In our findings, we discovered the first bill of concern was not on file with us but has now been requested so we can begin processing it. The second bill of concern unfortunately falls outside of our sharing guidelines and is not eligible for sharing.
We do make our limitations and exclusions available for Members to reference, and we understand how frustrating it can be when a bill doesn't end up being eligible. Please know we thoroughly reviewed every available option before considering the matter resolved.
We are also expediting the review and processing of your remaining bills currently on file. Don't hesitate to reach out with any future questions about service eligibility, we're always here to help.

strongly encourage anyone considering…
strongly encourage anyone considering WeShare to look elsewhere. My experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I cannot overstate how unprofessional, disorganized, and misleading this company has been.
The onboarding process was excellent. Representatives were friendly, responsive, and made the program sound comprehensive and straightforward. Unfortunately, my experience after enrolling has been the complete opposite. I asked multiple questions about my coverage before joining and was assured that certain services would be covered. After becoming a member, I discovered that what I had been told—and what was reflected in the onboarding materials—did not match what was actually eligible for sharing. The information presented during enrollment simply did not align with reality.
My biggest concern, however, is the complete lack of communication. In March, I had laboratory work performed that I was specifically told qualified under WeShare’s “Healthy Discount” benefit. Since then, I have received multiple bills for those services. I have submitted those bills to my assigned contact four separate times and followed up repeatedly. I have never received a response or even a confirmation that my documents were received.
I have also called the Member Services number that WeShare repeatedly encourages members to use. No response. I have texted my assigned representative, as instructed for faster communication. Again, no response. Weeks, and in some cases months, can pass without any acknowledgment. That level of customer service is simply unacceptable when members are relying on you to help resolve time-sensitive medical billing issues. I am now being threatened to be sent to collections, all because of their inability to file the bills and complete lack of accountability.
The problems don’t stop there. One of my healthcare providers has been attempting to submit claims since February without success. At the end of May, someone from WeShare finally responded to the provider’s billing department with a fax number. The provider promptly faxed the requested information, yet there was never any confirmation that it was received, leaving them to question whether the fax number even existed. To make matters worse, the claims submission information listed on WeShare’s website does not even match the information printed on my membership card, creating even more confusion for providers trying to work with them.
Another major frustration is the complete lack of transparency regarding your annual Member Care Health Share amount (essentially your deductible). There is no way to view your remaining balance through the member portal or app. Instead, members are instructed to email their assigned representative or Member Services to request that information, which is nearly impossible when neither responds.
Health sharing organizations require trust, transparency, and communication. In my experience, WeShare has failed on all three. When members are dealing with medical bills and unanswered claims, silence is not an acceptable response.
Finally, I find it especially disappointing that WeShare presents itself as a Christian organization centered on supporting one another. My experience has reflected the exact opposite. The values promoted during enrollment have not been reflected in the way my concerns have been handled or the level of care provided after becoming a member.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend WeShare to anyone. I will be leaving this program as soon as I am able, and I encourage others to carefully research their options before enrolling. Reliable healthcare coverage depends not only on the benefits that are promised, but also on honest communication, accurate information, and responsive support when you need it most. Unfortunately, those are the very things I found to be lacking.

Hi Izzy,
Thank you for sharing your experience and we want you to know your concerns have not gone unnoticed.
We want you to know that our team has been working on your case since we received your feedback last month. We've intervened to prevent your account from being sent to collections while your outstanding bills are being finalized and your submitted bills have been received and are currently in processing with your providers. We've also prioritized any bills that have exceeded standard processing timeframes for expedited review.
We want to acknowledge our communication fell short of what you deserved, and we take your feedback seriously. We're actively working on internal operations and processes to eliminate communication gaps.
Our team will continue to provide status updates and ensure timely resolution, and please let us know of any further questions or concerns.

If I could give a zero star review
If I could give a zero star review, I would. My son is enrolled. I needed to get him to an urgent care recently. I called to find out where I could take him (for the price of $100). The girl whom I got connected to was ridiculous at best. She was much more interested in correcting my terminology than with helping us. She made ME look up all the urgent cares in my area, their addresses & phone #s. Then she had good long chat with them only to come back each time to flatly tell me these places didn't accept WeShare. I could have done that myself. So I did her job for her so she could do WHAT? She was patronizing and oh so passive aggressive and completely useless. Urgent Care means it's urgent. Turns out Sharing is NOT Caring. BTW, I'm leaving WeShare.

We have been members of Weshare since…
We have been members of Weshare since January of 2025. We havehad nothing but difficulty getting our basic yearly checkups paid for. It has been over a year now and still they have not paid our bill.
They are very friendly on phone but and we have had a number conversations with the clinics and us on phone together and still we have gotten nothing resolved.
Response from WeShare HealthAug 19, 2026

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. They have not paid my hospital bill and i have been sent to collections. Customer service is really bad. Long wait times on the phone. When i do get someone they say they are going to help me but never do. This company does not follow Christian values.
Response from WeShare HealthAug 7, 2026
Hi Lisa, we want you to know our team has been actively advocating on your behalf as this situation involved a billing dispute with your provider around the allowed amount and we've been working to resolve that on your side.
Since reaching out to you earlier last month, we've escalated your case to the Patient Advocacy Team who has been in direct contact with you and will continue to provide regular updates. We also have open cases in process to ensure your provider has received the correct documentation and made the necessary account adjustments.
We're glad we were able to clarify details of your sharing and billing process, and we appreciate you taking the step of submitting your member responsibility which has allowed us to move the balance bill process forward. Our team remains committed to seeing your case through and will be following up with you again shortly.
We're truly sorry for the stress this has caused and we won't stop until this is fully resolved for you.

They get NEGATIVE in STARS
I had to pick a star. We Share and UHSM does not even get a star in my book. They are refusing to pay my medical bills. They are horrible.
