I've used WD hard drives for years, without a problem, however, I had never purchased directly from them before. I never will again. Ordered 2 weeks ago. Courier has advised the item was damaged in transit. WD have been uncontactable to sort this out, either by refunding me, or by sending another. Disappointing. I personally will not be ordering directly again. I wouldn't have done in the first place if I'd have found the reviews on this page!

I ordered and PAID for one measly SD card to arrive here in at least 2 business days. Its been more than a week at this point, and no one has reached out to me. I have been trying to contact them for days and no One has gotten back to me!! I better get my refund for the time past those two days that it took to get here, at the very least.

Wish i had looked on here before ordering. They took 2 payments from my credit card for 1 HDD. No response from CS so opened a dispute with Paypal. HDD arrived barely in the box, doubt it'll work very long without any decent packaging, tried contacting them again several times over several platforms and nothing. So looks like i'll be going back to Paypal again. DON'T BUY FROM WESTERN DIGITAL. Also searched the website to see where the HDD would be coming from and all i could see was the UK NOPE it came from the Netherlands.

As an update and with a big thank you to Harvey Norman for standing by their customers, this matter has been resolved because of the intervention of the retailer with the supplier WD. Original post: I have just purchased a MyCloud Home product - with a $15 discount off full retail - from Harvey Norman for which I sent in the warranty application along with proof of purchase as delivered by Harvey Norman with the product. It turns out that it has already "past its Used By Date" - so when I registered it with Western Digital it was declined as having been an expired product. Heads up that Harvey Norman are selling products online that have been in stock for longer than 3 years. Disappointing that WD won't honour that purchase even though it is a new product in the true sense for me as the purchaser.

Haw my WD blue 3TB internal drive for just under 5 years and it still works flawlessly cannot fault it, It is still very quick for a mechanical drive and it's age. i also have a freeview recorder and it was very slow put a spare WD in it and the difference in speed is massive.

Meine Festplatte wurde zur Reparatur bzw. zum tausch eingeschickt. Scheinbar wurde die Festplatte im Lager verschlampt und ist nun nicht mehr auffindbar. 419€ Neupreis!!!!! Eine neue bekomme ich nicht zugeschickt weil die alte nicht auffindbar ist. Danke für gar nichts!!

Bei Wester Digital im Onlineshop etwas bestellt mit einer Lieferzeit von 3 Werktage. Als ich dann nach einer Woche immer noch nichts hatte und der Status der Bestellung immer noch "Wird bearbeitet" lautete, habe ich mich an den Telefonsupport gewandt. Dort wusste aber auch keiner so richtig bescheid und es hieß immer nur es wird weiter gegeben, aber ich habe nie ein Update erhalten. Nach mehrmaligen anrufen haben ich dann endlich 2 Wochen nach bestellung die Mitteilung bekommen, dass der Artikel nicht verfügbar ist und sie mit einem Nachschub in 2-3 Wochen rechnen und man doch noch Geduld haben sollte. Wäre es nicht ein "seriöse" Firma wie Western Digital, würde ich denken das es sich hier, um einen Fakeshop handelt. Nach einiger Zeit ging dann endlich auch meine Stornierung durch und ich habe wenigstens mein Geld wieder erhalten. Bestellen würde ich hier jedoch nie wieder!
