The people working in customer service are very helpful and nice. The plants I have received are very nice, but I always pay extra to have my plants arrive using 2 day shipping. It’s expensive to do that, but the plants are less stressed and less wilted. The reason for 4 stars is because many times, I find that what I ordered is on backorder, even though online it says shipping now or will ship on a certain day, only to find out later that it will be delayed by several weeks. I have been waiting for some verbena and callabracoa since April 4th and it’s now April 18th and they still aren’t here. That’s disappointing because in Texas, it gets hot here very early in the Spring and the plants should already be in the ground. I never receive a notice either that my order has been delayed. I only find out by calling them. This issue needs to be addressed so customers can trust the dates of shipment listed online. Otherwise, I am pleased with their service. Plants are well packed and in good condition if you don’t use standard shipping.

The bulbs and plants were fine but......the shipping, phone access and the completion of my order was VERY unsatisfactory. Will NOT use this website again because of these issues. I actually got an email that the last of my order was shipped the day after the order arrived! Horrible customer support and logistics. And, something must be wrong with their phone line....it says to pick a number and it goes somewhere else or doesn't answer and you start the whole call over again. I finally hung up and called again and actually got someone.

Purchased 6 bare rooted geraniums this year and have seen results from only one after several weeks. Whether they will eventually produce is questionable since several of the plants were severely dried out. The hydrangeas I bought last year produced very little. The clematis died in spite of significant care in new soil in a large container. I have been gardening for many years and had successfully bought plants from Wayside many years ago with much better success. I will avoid buying any bare-rooted plants in the future and will probably buy locally in the future.

Everything I order arrives well packaged (much easier to work with) and in very good and healthy condition. Wayside gardens is my go to place for all flowers.

ALL of the plants I ordered from Wayside Gardens came well packed and very fresh. They are doing well since being planted and I am looking forward to many years of pretty flowers and strong plants.

Never a problem with any plants that I have ordered. Beautiful, summer long results.

customer service id not respond to my emails when the shipments arrived damaged with dead plants. I also tried to call but with no success. order WEBWG1489252

My Strawberry Vanilla Hydrangeas arrived in perfect condition. I don't think I've ever ordered plants online that were packaged as nicely as these were. They were fully protected, and the soil was still moist even though they were shipped to me across the country. The leaves were upright, no wilting, and the plants were larger than I imagined. Thank you Wayside Gardens, I look forward to seeing them planted in my yard, and blooming.
