Late arrival, the potted plants (3 geraniums, 3 daisies, ) arrived dry, tiny, fragile, dying. The 3 potted shrubs were/are doing ok. The many bulbs purchased are average to small in size. The bulb planter is a joke and wholly over priced. Save your money.

A number of the plants i have ordered came half dead or didn't live long. ie: lavender, jewel of desert, papaya popsicle, and fern.

Plants arrived in good condition and were at an appropriate time for planting. All of them had clear instructions about planting and care. They all did well during the first growing season and we had a hot dry summer.

My credit card data was used fraudulently shortly after making my purchase with Wayside Gardens online. I have fraud alerts and was able to cancel my card and get reimbursed pretty quickly. Someone made purchases in Beverly Hills, CA for several hundred dollars before I caught it. That was my biggest issue. This company was the only place I used my card online, and I typically use PayPal since it is more secure so I'm reasonably certain that this is where the data breach occurred. Buyer beware. Aside from that, the experience was great. Shipping was fast and the plants were healthy when they arrived. Their selection was vast, and the website easy to navigate. It seemed too good to be true...

I ordered 4 plants this spring and only one made it. The same thing with different plants happened a couple of years ago too. I won't be ordering from here again.

Of all the plants I ordered, just 3 survived. Some were sticks that dead leaves on them and never bloomed and others looked like they had rotted. I emailed Wayside gardens and never got a response. Maybe it was too late in the season for what I ordered, in which case, Wayside Gardens should have informed me. Wasted money. Will stick to my local nurseries.
