JOHN
Don't know how to ship plants.
Placed an order early in May. Wayside chose to ship the order the Friday before Memorial Day. They shipped UPS/US mail. The shipment was scheduled to arrive the following Thursday. I was able to pay UPS additional money to be delivered by UPS on Wednesday. After spending a 3 day weekend in a hot warehouse and a couple of days in a hot truck all 3 plants arrived dead. I called and was told I would get credit and 2 weeks later I am still waiting. I have ordered many plants on line and never received them just packed in peanut Styrofoam. All good plant suppliers have special boxes to ship plants. Garden Crossings only ships on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. They are in Michigan and Monday shipments are to the most distant points with Wednesday shipments to the closest cities. I have never had a problem with them.
