I really dislike going to Walgreens. I try whenever possible avoid using Walgreens on Frederick Blvd, Portsmouth, Va 23707. I don’t care what the time of day, night, going through the drive through or trying to make a phone call at Walgreen there is at least a half hour wait if not longer. It’s ridiculous. You wait to drop off prescriptions, and to pick them up whether inside or the drive through. Walgreens will have a line wrapped around the building and a line inside with one cashier working. The elderly, and sick alike, it doesn’t matter you wait and it’s like this every time I go there. They wonder why pharmacy’s are closing.

3th time they mess with my medication.exmore, Virginia location .

I order online for over two years. Now they have made it so when you do it won’t let you get the order delivered till 1 in the morning. They won’t fix the problem

Walgreens has been nothing but headaches. Prescriptions are always late, their website is glitchy, and the customer service just gives excuses instead of solutions. It’s like they couldn’t care less about getting it right. Frustrating at every turn. 💊💸😡

I used to obtain my prescriptions from Walgreens local store in Mebane NC or their mail service. I have never had a decent encounter. I myself moved all my scripts to a local Walmart. Walgreens has never been reasonably reliable on having the drugs I need. They never advise of what they do not have until you show up to pick up. Their phone system is the usual labyrinth of delays and disappointments. They are constantly out of common drugs. Their staff, are so rude and unresponsive and only offer empty excuses for delays. I have move my meds business to the local Walmart and now have had my wife agree to do so as well. This has gone on for years. And never, ever do I see a smiling face on the other end of the counter. They are chronically short staffed. This is because their pay is substandard. They’ve been this way for years. I refuse to even utter their name anymore. They are terrible.

And not only am I a secret shopper as well as a Navy vet with a doctors degree as I was in one of the Walgreens here off the District Heights, Maryland what took place should never happen to anyone I had to record the entire episode as they messed up with my medication prescription plus some. And I was mishandled and handle and it gets worse than this, but not only should just never been allowed to take in place. The entire incident was under section from the beginning to the most people would’ve been ready to fight especially these young people or young folks nowadays, tell me how you feel Public approval? speak out which I stay professionally the entire time why reporting it immediately with Walgreens Corporate Office, as well as all state and federal agencies as well medical board and others involved.

The walgreen pharmacist was extremely rude, tell me that I had to take my wife to rehabilitation center after my wife losing one of her sleeping pils. This was unacceptable from a medically professional trained pharmacist. I hope there is a management system that sunction this practices. They are not here to make remarks unprofessional and I feel being insulted by a person who is suppose to be helping us.

OMG how many times has Walgreens given me a "guaranteed delivery" that day, only to be told it would come 2- 4 - DAYS LATER!!!??? I checkout before 2pm, my meds are ready, so what's happening??? I'm only 1 mile away!? So who has my meds during this time - a stranger from Uber or Walgreens??? This is scary. Also, I take certain Rx's off "automatic refill" because I either have too much or am not even using that medication anymore. Lo & behold, it's filled against my wishes & I get constant emails, texts & calls about how my Rx (I DID NOT need) is ready for pickup!? What's 10x worse than this is that I got a 90-day prescription & guess what? I only got 60 pills!?!? They're constantly miscounting my Rx's, or trying to only fill "part of it" so I what - have to go back twice in 1 week just to get my whole Rx? Nobody has time for that!? PS - "date of experience"? I can't pick multiple dates, otherwise I'd pick the entire last year to-date. They've gone downhill & i wouldn't use Walgreens at all except that my insurance forces me to. Otherwise I'd change to CVS in a heartbeat.
