This walgreens at 2820 columbia pike in arlington, county va. Is racist rude and ignorant. I would shop in there from time and even signed up for a card which I never recieved. I went there dec.22,2021 and purchased items including beer. The cashier asked me in a rude way for my I'd, I am way above the age and older than the cashier as I showed my I'd, she was flirting with another customer who were standing off to the side. He was white also, the told her she did not ask him for his I'd. I went in again dec.23,2021 because I had forgot deodorant and another box beer. I asked the same cashier where was the deodorant, she acted as though she never heard me, a man then spoke up and asked her, she sent me in the wrong direction,as another customer was looking also. The store security woman then came and showed us to the correct shelf. When I was to check out. She again wanted to see my I'd, I told her I did not bring it with me, and I had showed it to her the day before as I have to the other cashier who was also there. She then got rude again and I asked her why would she keep wanting to see my I'd, as my I'd has my social security act. She then said because the Mgr. Said so, then she said because I have to show it everytime if I want to come in here, the other cashier acted as though she never seen me in there shopping. I went to the back where the beer case was and told another employee whom also works as a cashier, who have checked me out prior and he sent a black guy to check me out. She was still getting rude as other customers had lined up. She even told the guy he should and could get fired. She then told me not to come back into the store, I then told her she was a racist, and I will be reporting her. This walgreens, I have witness before how they act as though black customers come in to steal and have witness people calling them out. As the security follows u around the store and not the white. I won't be spending my money in there anymore. Or anyother walgreens, you need to clean this mess up.

I worked for Walgreens almost 20 years ago at the Walgreens - Store #6140 1620 NE GRAND AVE Portland, OR 97232 Cross streets: Northeast corner OF GRAND & WEIDLER 503-493-2715.. I began working there in April 2002. While there, I had the worst experience ever. I was falsely accused of stealing from the company. They tried to blackmail me into admitting that I did commit the crime when I didn’t. They tried to use the fact that I was only a US resident and didn’t have my citizenship at that time, that I would be sent back to my country. They put me through pure hell while trying to force me to admit to a crime I didn't commit. The people employed there at that time said they had me on video. Yet, when they were asked to show the video, they refused to show it- unless I admitted to the crime. When this occurred, I hired an attorney. When the attorney asked for the footage or evidence they said they had recorded over it. They terminated me in October 2002. Yet, three days later they called me back in to give my job back only to let me go again. When this occurred, they put this false accusation on my background- so every job I've applied for I got red flagged, so no would hire me. I lost everything when that occurred. I became homeless, with no solutions, no job. Which led to suicidal thoughts because I felt there was no hope of me ever getting another job because every opportunity given was denied. Even when I tried to get a job in Maricopa County, Phoenix AZ, they did a polygraph. One of the questions they asked was, if I had committed any crimes. It showed that I told the truth by saying no. Yet, they said, “you didn't commit it, but there's a trigger” Because I had already shared that situation with them, they agreed that the trigger was due to this issue bothering me for all those years. I found out 4 years later from other sources the entire slander, falsely accusing,threatening me, was a setup. The store manager and other supervisors didn't like me and they were trying to get rid of me from the beginning because of my excellent job performance. The administration at that time, tried to fire me before around October of 2002 and 3 days later I called the district and got my job back because I felt it was unfair and that I had worked too hard to get there- the administration knew I was the best retail employee at that time.I was always going above and beyond sales expectations, and they didn't agree nor like the fact that the company allowed me to come back three days later. Which led to all of the chaos… I am a hardworking, honest, dependable, faithful man, who strives to be a leader, a team player, fair to all, treating others as I would want someone to treat me, always working hard to adhere to all rules and regulations by any business, company, etc., that I work for. My only goal while working at this store was to do just that and to gain experience and wisdom, while trying to advance in the Loss Prevention field. I did not choose, nor deserve to be falsely accused of these accusations.Although this had been almost 20 year ago, the damage is still evident today, not only with my name with but cause emotionally, socially, mentally as well Mental anguish Homeless Depression Suicidal Couldn't get job red flags they took my paycheck Blackmail and threatened . No one deserves to go through the trauma, stress, depression, suicidal thoughts being homeless, because I lost the home I was living in at the time, due to me losing that job, and not being able to be hired anywhere else and slander that I had to endure because of this situation.

On their website they show a price of $9.99 for 17.9oz of Smoothlax (same as Miralax) with a buy one get one 1/2 off offer. So if you buy two 17.9oz SmoothLax purchased ONLINE it's $14.98. In store the price for ONE 17.9oz Smoothlax is $20.00. That's my first complaint. Why is there such a huge discrepancy in the online and store prices? Because of the price difference I purchased the 2 bottles online and opted for same day delivery for $5.99. They added a tip for the driver of $3.00 and with tax the whole thing came to $23.97 for 2 bottles. It would have cost almost as much if I had bought just one in the store. My second complaint is that the merchandise was NOT BAGGED so that the driver, my neighbors, the doorman - everybody could see what was being delivered to me. Suppose this was an extremely personal item? Are they that cheap that they can't put delivery items in a bag? If this is how they deliver with a driver, why don't they state that UP FRONT? I don't really need the doorman knowing that someone in my apartment is constipated. So for overcharging in store and not properly packaging they get a 2 1/2 rounded up to 3 since there isn't a 2/12 selection.Thanks Walgreens.

My husband and I are veeerrryyy disappointed in the Christmas commercial 2021. Our business is going elsewhere. We will not support this terrible way of doing business. People at the top of the company chain better wake up. Randy and Millie Bock

Walgreens has a debit card called Scarlet. Please AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They lock your debit card every single time after you use it, and you have to contact them to get it unlocked. They claim that it's for security purposes. That's a HUGE hassle so I called them on November 17th and asked them to cancel my card and to send me a check with the remaining amount. At first, they kept telling me that they had sent me a check, but the USPS mail is slow, but I'll get it. Now they are denying that they were supposed to send me a check and they are giving me the run around and they are ignoring my calls. They've stolen almost $130 from me, and they don't care. Walgreens won't help either, even though the debit card is their company and Scarlet refuses to talk to me.

This is the worst and disorganized pharmacy. (one in 1551 Staten Island, NYC) I have ever seen. I scheduled a 9:30AM appointment to get my Covid booster. The line wasn’t long, only 7, and i was the second one. However, staff took so long to finish one registration. I was called finally, the staff/ pharmacist didn’t complete my registration and left with sth else. He said someone will continue the registration. I was waiting for so long closed to 30 mins to have another staff to handle the registration. She skipped me and handled the three family members behind me, even I told her that the pharmacist hadn’t completed. No One Care! She spent at least 20mins more to register the family. after that, she left to do testing. I was waiting for so long. She finally came back and finished my registration. The pharmacist closed the booster room after he finished the family. 4 people behind me and myself were waiting for so long. after a long wait, the pharmacist came out to inject the booster,gosh! He is the worst pharmacist ever. I could feel that he injected the needle very slowly and deeply and showed his evil smile. By the time I got my booster, it was 11:20 AM. this is very unacceptable. How bad that Walgreens/ staff don’t value customers’ time.

If i could give a zero I surely would, my local Walgreens is so slow.... I sit in the drive-up for literally 30 minutes every time I go there, the last 2 months in a row they have not had my medication in stock... That's crazy because some medications are not meant to ever be missed on dosage... My local Walgreens is it in Sioux City Iowa on Hamilton Boulevard and it is the worst Walgreens I could imagine and I plan on changing my medication refills to another Pharmacy tomorrow.

We are so disappointed with the service and overall experience with walgreens pharmacy. During this difficult time the covid test we had scheduled was automatically canceled. The pharmacy did not to assist us or point us to any other option. They just gave us the shoulder and felt no remorse. So now, we are not able to find another testing center, we may need to cancel the trip, we kept our children from school just in case the pharmacy would be abel to find us another locator, the best scenario is we will find a testing center for a fee of 180 pp on the day of because there are no appointments anywhere. I filed a customer complaint and will wait for a regional manager to contact me. I will update the post as soon as someone contacts me.
