I have peace of mind knowing that my 3 dogs are having a great time! The communication with texts, and pictures is really great! I have such less anxiuosness knowing, they are outside and running around! The drop-in service in perfect. I have been absolutely satisfied!!

I’ve been taking care of dogs for years on Wag. I stopped wagging 2 years ago because of personal reasons but last week I had some spare time and decided to do it again as I remember how much I enjoy being with dogs. Last week I drove 40 minutes to attend to a house near Oxon Hill, MD. As every time before I get inside a house I knocked on the door, then I opened the door with the code the app gave me and look for the dog inside the house. I always try to touch the least possible things on each of my visits. Only focus on safety and my walk with the dog. Normally on the app it says where the leash is, but this time there was no information. I had to contact the owner and waited 5 to 10 min to know where was it. It was under a dirty towel on one of the stools in the kitchen. Dog was an untrained Rottweiler. Hard to walk but super sweet. He scratched my hand a few times with his sharp teeth. Nothing serious. Owner didn’t leave poop bags in the house so I had to use ziplock bags I had in the trunk of my car. Dog pooped 3 times, and peed several times, last poop was runny, everything reported during our walk on the app. I took a pic of him, he was not easy to walk with, so I focus on him to pee and poo as the owner said he hired me to do that despite I normally try to walk big distances with them. I saw the dog thirsty so I asked the owner if I could give him still water (I know some owners prefer other types of water for their dogs). I went back to the house, gave him water and put him back in his cage. The dog was so sweet I decided to leave a gift for him on the kitchen island countertop. A little Llama toy Bark brand but I notified the owner and let owner to decide if he wanted to give it to him or not. Left the house, locked the door and made a nice review on the dog profile and hoped to get a deserved tip and a good review for the good job I did. Everyone can see all the previous reviews I have, they are only good reviews and the reason of this is because I never focus on the money I get for the walks, I only focus on the dog and the pleasure they give me to spend time with them. I probably spent the $13 I got from the walk on gas and the hand cream for the scratches. At night I found his review about my job, that not only talks lies about opening the back door of the house and leave it opened and turning lights on… the pet owner also threatened me and insulted me. I asked to WAG team to removed the review and that was denied, despite under virginia law 8.01-45 all words shall be actionable which from their usual construction and common acceptance are construed as insults and tend to violence and breach of the peace. But for WAG team he didn’t violated any rules. It’s really disappointing to find no support from wag team on this matter. I will hardly use it again to walk another dog.

Connor is the best person to walk coco! He is so patient and still makes her walk confident. She loves him and enjoys the walks she has when he comes. She is pulling less and less the leash since he started walking her. Also when I had my surgery, he always got into my house to pick her up and brought her back into my house.

I’m a new WAG! user. Have used the same walker 2 weeks in a row and it’s been a pleasant and efficient experience. Service starts as ordered.
