I used to be reliant on Wag! because my dog suffers from epilepsy and needs to be administered medication in the middle of my work day. After several times, they started proving to be unreliable. Walkers would cancel last minute, and customer service was not helpful by replacing them. This obviously caused an issue for me because our dog's health relies on this service. We had this particular issue of walkers cancelling last minute.. a total of SIX times.. in THREE weeks. Our dog is crated while we are away, so if a seizure was to occur, it is extremely dangerous - however, we couldnt keep him un-crated (ever since he was diagnosed, he began to eat random things and jump on top of tables). Aside from this huge problem, I tried to give them more chances due to a lack of options. Now.. we have been having the issue of the walker not even administering his medication though it is clearly stated in the instructions. I have even called customer service to have them place a note on our account and to inform potential walkers that our dog requires special care. If you care about your animals enough to get a walker, look elsewhere. This service is unreliable, and clearly disorganized. I have given them multiple chances to redeem themselves; however, I can no longer deal with the inconsistencies.. please read all of the negative reviews associated with Wag! .. they are there for a reason, and there has to be better options out there.

Honestly, Wag underpays the walkers. Being a walker myself, it is absolutely horrible that we will be paid $26 to board a dog or sit a dog at the owners house (meaning that the dog will stay at the walkers home or the walker will stay at the owners home). Boarding or sitting a dog requires a lot of attention and care to the dog including walking the dog several times a day even more so if it is a puppy. As a walker, you get paid sometimes close to the same amount for a walk (if you're lucky and on very rare occasions, usually you get paid 8-$12 for a 1 hour walk) then to board/sit a dog for an entire day. This is completely unfair and unjust and Wag seriously needs to reconsider what walkers are being paid. Watching a dog is literally like taking care of someones child and Walkers should be paid more for it. Wag pays their walkers unfairly and this needs to be reevaluated. If you need someone to walk your dog, please use another service or at least tip the walker well, taking under consideration that we are 100% being underpaid. They're a cheap company and making a lot of money off the walkers.

Extremely terrible customer service. I sent an email with an issue and it took 15 days to hear back. A walker completely ignored one of my dogs and only walked the other (ever though my profile lists multiple dogs) and customer service couldn’t offer anything but to block that walker from the future. This is not the first walker they’ve had to block because of the walker not doing the job I’ve paid for. The customer service reps don’t seem to care that the customer is unhappy at all. I’d highly recommend anyone use a different walking service. These people don’t care about their customers and clearly don’t care if a dog has been neglected by one of their walkers.

Hi All, Wag's customer service is nonexistent. A customer send in email inquiry, an automated email acknowledges receipt and then in to a black whole and no follow-up. Think about this you have Wag walkers accessing your home, taking your dog our and when you have questions about the service, background checks on the walkers and the insurance not a single word of explanation. Do they really do the background checks? Does Wag really have insurance that cover the Wag Walkers? Beware!

I wish I didn’t have to give them a star at all. To make a long story short, the girl that was hired to watch our house and dogs while we were gone, was a felon and let random people into our house while we were in Mexico. I had to call the police to have them removed, and then emergency board my dogs. On top of that, they stole (WAG) $200 from my bank account after being told to remove my bank account information from their computers. They refuse to give me back the $200. Stay away from this company!!

The walkers always so nice and they leave updates of the walk.

A Pawsome Experience! Loved the service (boarding) and all around peace of mind which helped make this first-timer experience a great one! Will definitely recommend and use WAG again.

My dog walker is 45 minutes late and when I contacted customer service they couldn’t contact the walker, just offered a $5 credit for a future walk. $5 doesn’t seem to be a fair credit and I don’t know if I want to use the service again.
