I have currently been on hold for over an hour waiting to speak to a supervisor. As I was trying to set up services today for when I will be out of town the associate basically told me they can not guarantee a walker will be available and it is possible that they will notify me after I leave town, thus leaving the dog unattended. Beware of this stipulation before leaving for a weekend and thinking you’ll have reliable care. They don’t care. They just care to get the money and that’s it.

Why can't WAG run an efficient company? Isn't reliability important anymore? Shame on the owners, The walkers are fine but half the time I order a walk, get no confirmation and a walker shows up. Or I order a walk, get an affirmative response, and the appointment disappears. There was a time when WAG could never find a walker so I have already switched many walks to Rover.

I used the Wag app to chat with a vet regarding my dog. He had a very bad hot spot this morning on his groin area. We took him to the vet and they cleaned the area and clipped the fur and gave us multiple medications which I immediately gave to my dog pet the orders. About 6 or 7 hours after getting home from the vet my dog began to act strange. I looked at his groin to see his scrotum had quadrupled in size since being at the vet. I was frantic and didn’t know what to do. It was 10:30pm and I didn’t know if this was an emergency or if it was to be expected after all of the trauma from the hot spot, our vet never mentioned that this could occur and I was very worried. I looked for a vet service online and found Wag!. They have you fill out a questionnaire and say a vet is reviewing it and tell you to download the app. Upon doing so I read that the fee to chat with the vet was $30. We spent over $300 today at our vet but I was willing to pay the fee to get some peace of mind or to find out I needed to start driving to the closest 24 hour animal hospital which is over an hour away. I sent before and after photos, listed all of the meds and doses he’s had and gave his history. Per the app, vets are available 24-7 and typically take 5 minutes to respond unless you reach out at a very busy time. I waited and waited and was finally assigned “Dr. Sara O.” I continued messaging her for an hour with no response. I was connected with this person at 11:55pm. It is now after 2am and they have not responded to me in anyway. I emailed wag and messaged the “vet” to cancel my chat and issue me a refund since they have not rendered the service I paid for. After reading these reviews it seems like it will be difficult to get a refund despite them not performing the service I paid for. I will contact my credit card company in the morning and do a chargeback if necessary. And most importantly I still don’t know if my dog needs to go to the animal hospital or if it can wait until morning. I would absolutely not recommend this service to anyone and it looks like experiences with dog walking and sitting are equally troublesome. Take your business elsewhere.

I walked for Wag for 18 months. I had over 800 walks, with a 4.97 rating. My owners loved me and frequently requested me personally. I am on every preferred walker list in the area. I had an incident where the dog got off leash...through no fault of my own. Even Wag admitted that there was nothing I could have done about it and it was not my fault. The owner was extremely understanding and said it was not my fault. I was able to retrieve the dog without further incident. As per Wag policy, I self reported the incident...and they terminated me for violating their off leash policy! My advice...if you work for this company, don't EVER self report an incident because you will be fired, regardless of the circumstances.

Wag claims to have some sort of customer service but when you need to reach out to them they couldn’t even have the courtesy to reach back out. My wife got bitten repeatedly by a dog and we have been trying to reach out to find out the medical records of this dog, whether it has any diseases/rabies. And yet they won’t even reach back out even though we now need to head to urgent care. Definitely do not recommend WAG for anyone who cares about having a good customer service or care about your well being.

We used Brittany Samber to walk our pooches and she was AMAZING! Super attentive, patient, incredibly nurturing to our fur babies and even asked us for our daily walk routine so our doggos didn't get stressed out or thrown off their normal routine! I understand the 1 stars can be a little disheartening to people but there are amazing walkers from this site. So again, if you're in Pittsburg area and need someone great Brittany is 11/10 service!!!!!

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I downloaded Wag a few years ago and because I was going to use it while I was at work but a friend ended up coming through and I didn’t need it. I NEVER USED IT AND DELETED THE APP. Today, 3 years later I saw 2 $9.99 charges on my Credit card statement. When I called to inquire they said I signed up for premium 2 months ago by way of the app THAT I HAVEN'T HAD IN 3 years. When I told them that was impossible that only agreed to give me one charge back. I asked for a supervisor and one has to call me back because they were all busy at the time (wonder why). The woman called me back hours later (shocking) and only agreed to give me one charge back. I advised that I never signed up for premium as I HAVE NEVER USED THEIR SERVICES and she said there was nothing she could do. These charges were fraudulent and they are thieves. I do not suggest using their services. Their customer service team is horrendous and a waste of time. I’ll be contacting the better business bureau and my credit card company. So disgusted!

O effing stars. I tried to book ONE walk and they charged me $475. While proceeding to tell me they never charged me. I had to file a claim with my bank. Do NOT ever use this app.
