I have used wag for some time for walking and pet sitting. The past few walks I have tried to book have either taken over an hour to get a walker to arrive or I can’t get a walker at all. I’m located in a heavily populated and dog friendly area. This seems asinine that getting a walk is so impossible.

Wag! Customer service and reconciliation for customers is the worst. I live in the center of Los Angeles and it’s impossible to get a walker any day or time of the week.I’ve tried over a dozen times to find one at all times of the day and week, and nothing. They don’t even respond to my request unless I reach out to customer service. I have almost $500 in walker credits and have asked for a refund due to the lack of walkers and ability to actually use the services but their response is “it’s the cost you pay for having an animal - here’s our 100page policy you agreed to”. I would LOVE to use the service, I’m 8 months pregnant and desperately need it, but if they can’t deliver on the 1 basic service of the company they should not be in business.

I was surprised to get this request for a review, because I never got a response to my booking attempt. I eventually assumed that nobody was available, but it would have been nice to hear that from Wag in a timely way.

I love knowing that Zipper is well cared for while I'm gone. He gets his exercise and some fresh air.

I’m not one to say zero stars, but here we are. I honestly want wag to be sued because they are so horrific and what I experienced tonight. The majority of the honest walkers are incredible. But the company itself. I was charged 7 times for 3 walks ($202) on vacation might I add as a college student. So not much money in the first place. The people I think I can rely on (wag) has now fraudulently drained my bank account. I requested a walk and was charge for the original request, then wag attempted to charge me a second time for it but my account didn’t have enough funds so they canceled my walk that was once confirmed. (This is when I checked my bank statement and saw the list of 7 wag transactions) The customer service rep wouldn’t do anything to help me until I put my card information into their system. Did they not have it when they charged me an extra 4 times? They were more concerned about my money when I was more concerned about my LIVING BREATHING ANIMAL that needed to be cared for by the people I relied on while I was away. It is now 2:30am and I have finally found my own back up for the company that is supposed to be doing this for people. Wag is a sad excuse to use honest dog walkers and screw them out of their hard worked for money. It’s like Uber eats and DoorDash taking all the fees and benefits but giving the actual people working hard nothing. All they care about is your money and how they can charge you as many times as possible without actually providing you with any services. FRAUDD

Multiple cancels. Could not find replacement. No refunds or help. Had to cancel a trip early to get home and care for our dog.

I typically have great experiences with Wag! There was one time my walker cancelled last minute and they could not find another - hopefully that is an edge case. Otherwise have had reliable walkers who provide detailed report cards.

I had to go out of town for several days and needed help with walking my dog during the times when my boyfriend was working. Dawn walked, fed and nurtured my dog during the times that I was away and I couldn't be more pleased. She messaged me about his behavior and noticed details about his cognitive delays without me telling her. This led me to believe that she has loads of experience with animals. Thank you!
