Would be no stars if that was possible - like the previous poster Joe Duffy Airside Swords (our vehicles must have overlapped) car was towed on October 14th and finally back today November 2nd after the fourth visit, parts replaced that only exacerbated the issue, being told there was an airlock while an accountant was able to point out to the mechanic were the problem was (as indicated by a large pool of coolant), another part allegedly ordered that took 8days to arrive. Promises to have the car sorted that expired. Promises of return phone calls in ten minutes that came days later. An assumption that the driver had a rental by two separate agents - driver is U25 so could not drive rental car - then a suggestion that someone else was driving a rental car and seeking return of keys! Obviously nothing being documented as the engineer who finally returned the car had no idea of the saga that had gone before and asked who had been dealing with us (the reply was which time?). Was a very good garage when it was owned by McAllisters but will avoid now.

I bought a new Volkswagen Caddy on June 2023(231). I am using it as taxi,which is my icome. It was all done MD motors in Dublin. My taxi got oil leakage ( completely emptied) on 1/10/23. Volkswagen rescue team towed and dropped to nearest service centre in swords Joe Duffy. The car diagnosed only on 9/10/23. The issue was crankshaft seal broken. And the parts not available in Ireland, it has to come from Germany. today is 17/10/23, still not arrived it. Volkswagen has any responsibility for loosing my income. first how many volkswagen car we are using in Ireland. why can't they have a good stock of spare parts in Ireland. volkswagen has so many dealers in ireland, Joe Duffy in Swords needs to be investigated why they are delaying it almost three months. Is there any one looking to buy volkswagen cars,my suggestion is please THINK TWICE.

They say they will keep my car in service for 1 month or more, but they do not give a loaner. If I had not contacted Volkswagen about the claim I made 3 years ago, they would not have informed me that the claim was approved.

I purchased a brand new 2022 Volkswagen on August 29th, 2022, the car had 11 miles on it. I had a trade is for $7000.00 and I put down $5500 a total of $12,500.00. I purchased a brand new car thinking I wouldn’t have any issues like a used car. On November 18, 2022 I brought the car in because I was hearing noises, when they serviced the car had serious problems. They had to change the transmission they kept my car for over 3 weeks. I requested a buy back because I was extremely upset that a brand new car would have such serious problem. I submitted all the necessary paperwork they request to tell me over a month later I don’t qualify because the car only had one issue. Fast forward to June 26, 2023 i took the car back to Volkswagen because I heard a metal rubbing noise that was loud while I was driving. They kept my car for 3 days because they said my EVAP was seized. And my rat housing was replaced. This car is completely bad and I tried to return It and it keeps having issues. I’ve had this car for 10 months with major issues, more issues I have ever had with a used car! This company is completely the worst and this has been the worst experience of my life. I have children I thought I bought a reliable car and I bought a lemon. I even spoke the salesman that I purchased the car with and told him my headaches and he told me thats why you have warranty, what do I want him to do. This has been a complete nightmare again. I requested another buyback and now I’m waiting for another response. I do not want this vehicle!

Terrible corrosion on sills and wings had independent inspection agreed with me barnetts vw manager agreed was corrosion after pics sent to vw custiner service declined 5 months fighting with them getting nowere would never recommed a vw to anyone

Our band new VW Tiguan have issues with lane assist , this has been discussed with VW dealership and UK customer service for few months now and vehicle been under investigation for few times , the last update is Steering wheel is faulty but they do not have it and as there are many customers have the same issue it is on back log and there is no ETA and may take months to get it according to VW UK. This is an absolute nightmare.

SERIOUSLY BAD SERVICE FROM VW CUSTOMER SERVICES & VERTU VW HEREFORD I have a brand VW Transporter Kombi with a problem where rain water is getting in through the sliding doors so I cannot use the rear seats, I complained about this fault to Vertu Motors Hereford on my second day of ownership, so they collected the vehicle and could not find or replicate the problem using VW's method of finding the fault so unfortunately i cannot have a refund or the problem fixed. I have not driven the van in 4 months that I have had it since buying it brand new. So my 50k van sits outside and cannot be driven.
