I have used other DVD Rippers, but VideoByte Blu-Ray DVD Ripper pops the cork on your favorite bottle of champagne. While most other rippers extract a compacted MOV or QuickTime file, VideoByte creates a lossless file of DVDs and Blu-Rays! It astounds me at the difference. I am & have been a lifelong cinefile and by trade am a TV News Photographer working with TV video images & always want the best crisp & clear document of of movie in the highest quality of picture & sound. VideoByte DVD & BluRay Ripper is the cleanest I've seen with regards to the original file playing out on the DVD or Blu-Ray on a player. I like to have a 100Gb or higher USB drive on my keychain with 30 to 50 movies at any time to watch a few minutes of during down times of the day, or when I just need to clear my head. It is staggering what an improvement a lossless quicktime file is versus a compressed movie file. Hands down, VideoByte has set a new high mark!!!!!

Product easily rips my Blu-Ray disc. I had lost my key code and they re-issued my code with an updated version quickly and professionally. Very Happy with product and support.

Blu-rayプレーヤーを購入後、MKV変換がディスクによってうまくいかず、サイトに確認したところ親身になって対応いただきました。データーは何度か送りましたが迅速な対応で解決しました。 迅速な対応ありがとうございました。

I have been looking for both a Blu-ray player and a ripper for my MacBook Pro. Mainly, the ripper was the product I was most interested in. However, the Blu-ray player functions better than my existing application, and the ripper is easy to use and of equally high quality. The support team at VideoByte helped me with a small issue in a prompt and professional manner. Both applications are worth the investment.

I’m writing this to warn other customers, because my experience with VideoByte BD‑DVD Ripper has been extremely disappointing. I purchased the software because their website stated it supported SRT subtitles. This feature was essential for me — as a deaf user, subtitles are not optional, and I always check for SRT support before buying any media software. Despite this, the program does not embed SRT subtitles at all. It only produces bitmap/VobSub subtitles, which is not what was advertised and not what I needed. I contacted VideoByte support immediately and provided everything they asked for: logs, screenshots, sample files, and detailed explanations. Over several weeks, I received repeated requests to “wait” while they investigated. Eventually, they confirmed they could not fix the issue. What shocked me most was that they then denied their own advertising, suggesting their website had never claimed SRT support. This was especially frustrating because SRT capability was the sole reason I purchased the software, and I had checked this very carefully before buying. Despite acknowledging the technical fault, VideoByte refused to issue a refund. Their refund policy states they refund for technical problems, but this was not honoured in my case. The delays also meant the situation passed beyond PayPal’s 30‑day dispute window, leaving me unable to raise a claim there. I ultimately had to go through my bank, who reviewed the full email chain and evidence and resolved the case in my favour. This experience has been time‑consuming, frustrating, and completely avoidable. Based on my experience, the software did not work as advertised, support was unhelpful, and the refund policy was not honoured. I strongly recommend that potential customers exercise caution before purchasing from VideoByte.

I was in London on business and in urgent need of software to copy and burn several DVDs, both regions 1 and 2. Having left the relevant programs on my desktop in LA, I scoured the internet for a replacement. Videobyte came with high promise and proved to be ideal for the job. I was greatly impressed with the speed and efficiency with which the ripper and the player fulfilled my needs. Region codes were no obstacle. I would heartily recommend these terrific programs for the smallest to largest jobs.

Scam company. They claim to have a 5 day money back guarantee, but they do not. They need you to go through all these steps. Additionally, all the information they requested was provided in the first email. Whoever read the email saw the word cancelation and replied with a clearly AI generated, canned message. Poor experience. Wasted money.
