VideoByteReviews of videobyte.org

BluRay DVD RIpper Software does not reliably recognise it has a loaded disc Often picks the incorrect file as being the main movie, so the user has to check this. Crashes quite often. Does not always rip the full length of the recording even though it does correctly note how long it should be, surely thats an easy edit check which could be added by the developer? Seems like a BETA product to me, needs to much babysitting to be a full production quality item

pd $100 got 10 mo. out of it updated my bios and now no access not worth $10.00 a month e-mailed support and nothing they got my 100 bucks live and learn scams come in different costumes

Product doesn't work with all files. Customer service dreadful, refused to give refund even though this is stated on website

I paid £50 for this software yesterday and it will not analyse any disc I try to load. Absolutely useless.

The tech emails act like they have no idea what i am talking about. I get a line across the screen every time i try to copy a disc?

I have read some other reviews here and I agree that sometimes when I have contacted them I have been ignored and the issue not resolved. In fact our issue (of ripping without sound) was first raised on 8th January 2024 (given a reference of 387250). But it has been solved as of 03 April 2025 at 07:49 where the agent identified the reason and helped us to fix it (we had to choose an alternative Channel 2 to the default setting). This positive ending to my customer experience was SOLELY down to that particular agent. Incidentally the agent was very thoughtful and compassionate (since I had suffered a death in the family). That agent single-handely protected the company's online reputation. Excellent effort!

Does not support 4k UHD discs on Mac despite the misleading headlines on the website that literally tells you the opposite "Support 1080p HD and 4K video quality". The support guys of course state that this text refers to the video files and not discs hence no refund.
