Subcontractors were used for installation for equipment. It was not done correctly. The second subcontractor (sent to fix the issue) said Viasat wouldn't authorize him to correct the wiring so it could be grounded correctly. (It would have had to be rewired). Service was so slow that I couldn't watch Netflix without interruptions. Viasat failed to cancel my service at the end of my billing cycle after it had been requested. Instead they "suspended" my service (for non-payment) after several days into the next billing cycle. Then they contacted me saying I owed money for that additional month since I had some service during that billing cycle. I told them I had cancelled the service and that was why the payment method had been removed. I reluctantly paid the extra month, so they would go away. Instead they reinstated the service (I didn't even live at the residence any longer) then tried to bill me for an extra month AGAIN before finally cancelling the service. I received a box requesting back the equipment (that I had purchased). I was told they didn't sell equipment that it was a "lifetime lease" (contrary to what is in my contract). I sent back the equipment since I knew I would never use them again with a letter stating the facts. They still fail to acknowledge their mistakes. They sent me to collections and are still trying to get an extra month of payment from me.

I honestly regret signing up for this service. The internet has been slow and unreliable, and the price is much higher than what was promised. I was overcharged on my first bill even though I'd only been a customer for two weeks. They also charged me for equipment that I was told would be free. When I reached out to customer support, they weren't helpful at all and didn't do anything to fix the problem. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend this service if you're looking for reliable, reasonably priced internet.

The worst internet I have ever had. Called and tried to resolve issue several times. They charged a full month for 7 days of service. The internet does not work. Go with starlink even if viasat sounds cheaper I pay less through starlink and service is 100% better.

Viasat passenger care couldn't provide me with a payment confirmation/invoice for the wifi I purchased on LOT flight, resulting in me not getting compensation from my employer for this expense. They said they cannot find my purchase in the system, although I provided my email, flight info, transaction details and so on. Very dissapointed

The internet only worked for about 3 weeks of the 2 months I had it. When I had issues they would take 2 weeks plus to send someone out to fix it. Then they had the audacity to charge me for the internet while it wasn't working and I was waiting for their tech.

I'm giving it two stars because we were able to get extremely slow internet most of the time. We live out in the country and didn't really have any other options until Starlink came along. That's what we just switched to. Streaming movies on Viasat was nearly impossible. Any kind of bad weather also knocked out our service until it passed. One thing that really ticked me off at the very end, was they want you to climb up on top of your roof and remove a TRIA box located on the satellite dish, as well as return the modem and power cord equipment or face a $300 charge. They are more than happy to come out and set you up, but come time to end the deal and they want you to do it yourself. I'm disabled and can't get up on the roof. How wonderful right?! The billing cycle also made it so that I had to pay an extra month after I already had my new internet with Starlink. ($178) So basically they get you for an extra $500 total if you don't return the equipment. They won't be in business much longer. Glad we're finally done with them, but they were a necessary evil to be able to have internet service.

Paying for slow Internet is a joke.. month to month after 2 year contract... Options are limited where we live for Internet..had viasat for over 5 years... Getting a tech out here was a wait and a half, still had to pay the bill for no Internet, long story short go elsewhere for Internet if you can... Cancel it at the end of the cycle just before they take payment cuz you will be paying for a month of Internet you won't use if you already have a new provider... $127 for a month of not being used... Awesome way to get that last penny off you... Goodbye viasat, the spotty service and constant outages won't be missed.
