Antiquated, malfunctioning website
Verizon is a big name in the industry, but the service is anything but. For a reputable TECHNOLOGY company, they do a horrible job of having an infrastructure setup for long time customers having an older phone. They actually sent me a text saying that I would only receive 4G when it's not too busy, and would receive 3G the rest of the time. They did something that resulted in me being no longer able to use my phone for a hotspot. Consistently takes an unusually long time to receive an sms message, let a lone an mms message. I am getting dropped more frequently. All of the above likely due to my comment about them delegating older phones that long time customers may have, to the back of the bandwidth line. On top of all that, their website looks like something from the 1990's, and so many bugs and malfunctions with the functionality of it. It's as if they have no QA department that tests it before deploying it to live production. All that, and they are still the most expensive cell service provider. To be fair, there coverage is still one of the best if not the best of all providers, and their customer service, although imperfect, I have never had a major problem with.
