I’ve known smashed crockery that’s been more functional than this app. It’s so useless that it almost feels like I’ve been scammed by some data hoovering operation. If BA really want to improve efficiency around verifying covid statuses, why not build that into their process properly instead of outsourcing it to a third party app they force you to use that prevents you from checking in because it doesn’t work? It’s just another sign of the times. Incompetence. Everywhere. Verifly? Veribad more like.

I am amazed to find all the bad reviews. I didn't know anything about VeriFly until being presented with when trying to check in for our BA flight to Costa Rica. Everything worked smoothly both outbound and inbound. It was easy to use and efficient. Maybe we have been lucky, but it's an easy decision to give it 5 out of 5.

Verifly is rubbish. Very clunky. Having finally registered a trip to Switzerland with a companion you would think it would retain all that information for the return trip to UK. Not a bit of it you start again from scratch and it is hard to find where to start. BA should stop using it.

I uploaded all the required documents, and got a "Safe to fly" certificate. But there is no way to forward this certificate to BA. The BA check-in website is saying my COVID documents have not been updated, so I can't check in. And I am still getting emails and texts from BA urging me to complete VeriFly check! I did! I have wasted 3 hours of my time.

Doesn’t allow me to check in online. A waste of time. I am cleared to fly but not according to BA

If I could give a ZERO, I would. It is, no hands down, the WORSE, CLUNKIEST excuse for a program in history. They should JUNK this piece of garbage and start from scratch.

Useless - my Covid certificate shows my middle name (from my NHS records). Verifly wouldn’t accept it so I added my 1st and middle name to the first name field (they don’t have a middle name field!) and, hey presto, it accepted it. My Covid test app just has my first and last names so guess what? Yep - Verifly wouldn’t accept my Covid test pass certificate. It wouldn’t accept my daughters Covid test pass certificate either but for no apparent reason. It accepted my wife’s docs no problem. Totally random and completely useless. Edited to add that it did eventually work but it took repeated attempts to upload the various information. It needs a lot more work and testing to become a decent app.

Terrible experience, have uploaded all required information and received ‘Ready to Travel’. However I am not able to check-in or choose seats on BA app as it says that covid information has not been verified. Have now been trying for over 2 hours to try to rectify the issue to no avail. Will now have to check-in and choose seats before the flight. Stressful enough in these times, I don’t need this additional stress. Ridiculous situation.
