VelvetJobsReviews of velvetjobs.com

I’m giving 5 stars to reflect the 5 star support I’ve received from VelvetJobs since late 2023. Not only have they reviewed, supported and revised the resume process. Their rep assigned to me has been above top notch in his constant follow ups, check ins and inquiries as to if or what we need to change if something is or was unneeded. They have provided interview questions and will run Mach interviews as needed. No question is avoided or unanswered. No topic is overlooked or undiscussed. My only complaint would be that I didn’t have them to lean on for support sooner in my career.

It is a scam! After they get your money, they offer you a link to a website to build a resume. There are so many free websites that offer this and much more for free. Their so-called coaches are incompetent and unprofessional. Their coach was late to our first meeting. Then, she called me from an anonymous number. Then she lied and said she called from a shown number. She misspelled my name. She did not care to apologize. I called their customer service, and nobody answered. I sent an email to their support asking for an apology. Their so-called CEO harassed me and disrespected me. He also lied. No integrity. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and rude. Their CEO is very rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Velvet jobs asked for my personal information after I submitted my initial review in order for their CEO to harass me and intimidate me to take down my review. He does this with everybody who writes a review he does not like.

VelvetJobs provided outstanding services that put me on the best possible path to a successful job search. From rewriting my resume to coaching me through every step of the interview process, their high-quality engagement made the difference.

There is absolutely no way these other reviews are legitimate. Velvetjob is absolute trash. The “resume” I got was just a laundry list of words, no punctuation, no formatting. No “writing” was done. The “coaching” session was literally just an hour of the woman sending job posting and personal messages to her all her buddies on LinkedIn. STAY AWAY.

I left my current organization in a much more senior position than when I had first joined. With this shift in seniority, my past knowledge on how to write my resume, conduct my job search, and speak in interviews needed to level up. Luann, my career coach, helped me re-write my resume and refine my communication to highlight the impact I can create for potential employers in a clear, concise, and SEO optimized way. Thank you for your help!

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

VelvetJobs was provided as an outboarding service when a company I was at laid off 15% of us. They provided excellent help updating my resume.

I used this service and I just accepted the job offer that I have been dreaming about for a couple years now. Christina was amazing and worked quick
