James has been an exceptional help for me working on my resume. He has coached me and has given me some great ideas in pursuit of my next career. He has been patient, helpful, and a great person to talk to about the job market. I would highly recommend James and Velvetjobs to anyone. Sincerely Towanda

Bethany was extremely helpful in my time with her. She was very understanding of my situation and the challenges faced during the time. She was helpful in creating my resume to appropriately reflect my experience and skills.

The highlight was my experience consulting with Bethany. She was a sounding board, an empathetic ear, and a champion through a challenging chapter. She made solid recommendations on my resume format and LI profile to round out the edges. Valuable inputs. I'd say an opportunity area would be more updated info/roles on the Velvet Jobs job board--I didn't use this much given the other, more robust options.

Got some good info to add to my resume, though I felt like the process was a bit on the impersonal side. I think the staff could have asked me more questions to get to know me better as a candidate.

The woman originally assigned to me did not have good follow-thru but then Velvet Jobs re-assigned me to Amanda, who has been amazing! She gets back to me quickly and has provided a great update to my old resume. Amanda is a rock-star!

I got connected to a very professional and capable resume and LinkedIn coach. She is always reachable, very responsive and being proactive in rendering assistance. Perfect for business management professionals. Would have been ideal if also matching my information technology industry.

I was given outplacement services by my previous employer and was happy with the final resume and cover letter I received. The process to collect information for the resume, interview tips and resources were very helpful. I would have liked more time to review career options and steps to take throughout an interview process. I think the job search options are good on the site, but could be improved. I have not reviewed all the resources on the site, but so far, I like what I have read.

After working with Velvet, I now have a beautifully formatted, concise, and scannable resume that I am proud of. I am confident it will lead to more interest from prospective employers. My feedback for future, would be to streamline the production process, and keep clients more in the know about project milestones.
