VelvetJobsReviews of velvetjobs.com

I highly recommend VelvetJobs for anyone searching for a career in the media/entertainment field. When I started my job search, I didn't have the time to search multiple company career websites each day until I found the one position that fit my skills and experience. I found that VelvetJobs is the " one-stop job search" site which lists all the positions in my field for all media companies coast-to-coast. I signed up with VelvetJobs and I found detailed information about each position and contacts at media companies to whom I can send my resume. If it were not for VelvetJobs, I would not have found my current ad sales accounting position at Viacom. Overall, it was well worth the quarterly fee because I found my new job in less than five months.

Velvet jobs provided a lot of jobs that I wasn't able to access elsewhere however the search functionality seemed to include a lot of jobs that were unrelated to my interest. I feel that if Velvet Jobs improved their search and had a larger selection of niche jobs it would really improve their service.

I was unsatisfied and then Christina M. e-mailed me back and was able to clear up any confusion and issues that I had. She deserves recognition for her professionalism and concern for the customer's positive experience with the VelvetJobs website. I have told and will tell more people about the positive experience that I had with both the website and reference it. Thanks again!

Hi there I recently found a job through the velvet jobs site. My overall experience with the site has been great over the last 6 months or so! I like the way the site is designed, very user friendly and I've made great contacts through the site as well. Overall, great experience! Even though I have recently found a job, I will continue to use the site as a resource. Many thanks! Alanna Siviero

I used Velvet Jobs and found their quality of service and products to be superior in the marketplace. When I had a question, they were always quick and helpful! The time & resources were well used. I highly recommend them and wish more companies gave the service and products that they encompass.

This is the only site I've found which actually targets real jobs within the entertainment and advertizing industry so widely. Great customer support as well. Will use again.

A friend of mine told me to use VelvetJobs to look for a gig. Within two weeks I was hired. Here's how it worked: I applied on-line for the job but I also used my contacts to see who I had on the inside to help me out. Turns out I did have connections and it helped speed along the process. I say VelvetJobs was integral in my job search because I wouldn't have known there was an opening at the company I wanted to join. There is no doubt in my mind that I found this job because of VelvetJobs.

Good site with good customer support to resolve an issue
