I want to give the staff credit, they are so friendly and respectful they treat you as if your their friend and not just a number. Thank you for the customer service Stephen Mook

I’m not one who normally leaves reviews, ever, but I had to tell the world Vasa is the WORST. by all means please find a different gym. I’ve had an awful experience and they robbed $500 from me. The salesperson told me he was signing me up for a free training program and didn’t tell me when the free trial ended I would be charged an EXTRA $160 on top of the $20 monthly. He entered my card information incorrectly, so for a few months I was being charged and had no idea. They wrote me some letter saying I owed over $500 and wouldn’t let me get out of it, even after calling. So, a few years later I went back in hopes of a better experience. Found out it wasn’t for me still and I’m not comfortable at that gym. They still will not waive certain fees so now I’m paying $70 just to cancel (which is supposed to be a $25 cancellation fee.) anyway, super frustrated. Never going back, please don’t waste your money

Haven't actually signed up to this place I have signed up to gold's gym before and they used Paramount also changing the company's name does nothing if you don't change what was really broken in the first place so I will never get a membership with gold's gym / Vasa fitness

Gym is excellent. Personal Training Sign Up Is a Scam. I signed up for a basic membership in south Utah. I had lived out of the country for 20 years and said I wanted a few sessions with a Personal Trainer to get acquainted with the machines and get set up with a free weight program. I was told the PT sessions were $12.50 per session. They did not indicate each session is 15 minutes. So for one hour It's $50.00. I was not told I was being signed up for six months of training with a commitment of $1,200 and that the six month contract would automatically review. The sign up process is via their Ipad, and I only was given a screenshot of the contract after two months of being charged $100 every two weeks for personal training. The contract clearly says you can cancel within three days of signing up, but the first time I saw the contract was months later. I was told that their system defaults to a six month commitment and auto-renewal. I have had numerous calls and emails, all to no avail. Take away? Demand a printed copy of the contract before you sign on the Ipad. Insist to know how much they will bill you per month. Insist you see in writing on paper all the charges that will be posted to your credit card. Buyer beware. Who would have thought that in 2022 a company would rather make money by hiding charges and terms, rather than focusing on client satisfaction.

My husband and I had an account together, but there was a mistake. The front desk worker actually signed us up for two separate accounts but kept telling us we only had one. Life went on a little, our credit card changed, we fixed it on OUR account, and we cancelled OUR account due to COVID. The only account we thought there was. I received no calls or notices until VASA's collections agency started calling. I've been in contact with all three companies repetitively and they were not communicating with each other. It was all settled in December 2021, I have a letter and our bank statements to prove it. Now we're in March 2022 and I'm getting calls again from the collection agency. I tried calling VASA and Paramount but they're both receiving high call volumes so I waited. Once it got down to a 3 to 5 minute wait time it hung up. These people are vile and I've sent an email that included all three companies. I'm waiting on a response, but I have this gut feeling I'm going to be paying again. Which I can't afford right now because I'm a teacher.

I signed up for a holiday special last November,I thought. My account was never charged. Something told me I should follow up. Sent an email to corporate in March was told I had a past due amount of $35 and some change. I called the toll-free number was told I owed $139 plus a cancellation fee of $25 explain to her I had never been charged and never went she didn’t care was going to charge me anyway in order to cancel the membership. I will never set foot in this place ever they don’t care about people. They have no compassion or consideration. I have no reason to believe that they would work with anyone in Life circumstances. When I paid the amount I didn’t even get a thank you she simply hung up on me.
