This company is a scam. They took all the order money upfront and have not delivered the furniture yet, order is many months over due and still no delivery date. When I asked for refund, they said can’t refund the money and still can not tell me when I will get my order. I will file legal action against their practices so they can stop exploiting thousands of other customers.

Do not trust this company! I was hesitant to order something without being able to try it out first but was assured by their customer service that they had a 100% money back guarantee if I was unhappy with the product within the first 14 days. We originally ordered a couch in early June and they gave us an estimated delivery date for 2 weeks later. After 3 weeks, I reached out and they told me that they didn’t see it coming back into stock until at least November but tried to push Us towards ordering another item as an exchange. We declined and ultimately canceled the order on July 1. They said the refund was coming in 3-5 days. 8 days later, I asked for an update and was told that it was initiated through PayPal already. A week later, I ask for an update and they say they need my account info again. I provide it. 5 more days, and they say their system is having an error and it’s taking longer than expected but should hit my account any day. I followed up today and am now being told they don’t do refunds but will give me a store credit for a future purchase. This is absolutely insane! They have changed their policy after the fact and keep giving me the runaround. Not worth the hassle.

Worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. DO NOT order from them, I certainly wish we hadn’t. Customer service is awful, they can’t explain why my sofa has been sat in a warehouse in the same city I live in for over a week and STILL hasn’t been released for delivery even though the courier says they have capacity to. Won’t try to solve any issue, will just say ‘it will take another week to resolve’

****UPDATE 8/11/22 I was told it was not possible to speak to a mgr that day or receive a refund at all or cancel my order. I filed a complaint here and with the BBB, filed a dispute, and was called that day by a mgr. The mgr told me that the only way to cancel my order and receive a refund was to cancel the dispute with my bank. I have read all of the reviews about how refunds go with this company and let them know I will not be lifting any dispute until the money is cleared in my account. They threatened that the dispute process would take longer and pressured me to lift the dispute and they would send me a check via snail mail in up to 30 days. No deal. I received an email threatening to drag this out through the dispute process, refusing to cancel my order unless I drop the dispute. No deal. I received a phone call today from escalation mgmt and an email that my order has been canceled.. I will update this post when I receive my refund. This company is super sketchy and dishonest. They continue to update the est delivery to a month out and are prob contact pontential buyers insisting that the product is “shipping out faster than expected *no guarantee*” when this product has consistently been on “back order” and potentially doesn’t exist. Def read the reviews when it comes to Valyou furniture. *************original post************* Scammers. The positive reviews are def fake on this site, they use the same exact wording as the customer service reps. Currently dealing with the process of getting $2,000 back. They say if it looks to good to be true, it is. I believed this was a real company bc I found them through an Instagram ad. The couch I ordered looked great and the price was better. Received a phone call when I put the couch in my cart, an employee telling me the couches are shipping out faster than expected and I would be receiving my product early! My date passed and I had to call and ask about my order. First person I talked to told me it was “pain for all of us” waiting for orders to be fulfilled. Second person pushed me back a month. It has been two months now and I had to call again only to be pushed back indefinitely by a very rude customer service rep. I have been denied a refund and told it would be days before a supervisor could contact me. This is apparently their standard method of stringing you along. You wait days only to be told wait 2 more days. Wait a month for your couch only to be told one more month. Wait 2 weeks for your refund to go through only to be told , “there was an error we processed it today” wait two more weeks I will update after my bank investigates!

This company is perpetrating a scam on its customers! I ordered a coffee table on 6/1/22 for $850. At the time the website stated they had 8 in stock. When I followed up a week later regarding delivery, I was informed that it was in a "Pre-order" status and they expected shipments to start "around July 29th". I decided to cancel the order because I didn't want to wait that long. It was still in pre-order status when I canceled on 6/18/22 and was told I'd receive a full refund to my credit card in 7-14 days. A follow up inquiry on 6/21/22 received a response with the same information. Nothing happened. I followed up again on 8/2/22 only to be told that they now have no way to issue a refund to my credit card and they would be giving me a credit to my "Valyou Wallet". This is incredibly deceitful. Management seems to shield itself from the customers by overworking their staff and having them give rote text responses to customer complaints. There is no way to talk to a manager. If the customer asks too many more questions, the worker moves on and quits responding to your texts. For your own good, stay far away from this company and tell everyone you know to do the same! UPDATE after Valyou's response: Has anyone reading this review ever heard of a legitimate company who cuts off all possibility of a customer refund 24 hours after the order is placed? Or who assures the customer repeatedly in writing that their refund is on the way only to later claim that was never their intention? I do a lot of shopping and I sure haven't. It's all so shady. In fact, reputable companies typically don't even charge the customer's card until the item ships, and always allow you to cancel if the item is back ordered. Valyou's response should only serve to steer you away from this company. There are too many honest, reputable furniture companies out there to take such a risk with this one. Save yourself the substantial trouble!

DO NOT ORDER FROM VALYOU!! THEY ARE A SCAM. I wish I could give Zero stars. I ordered a couch for thousands of dollars from Valyou 6 months ago. After 4 months of waiting and the shipping date continuing to be pushed back over and over again, I started asking the costumer service team when I could actually expect my couch to ship. When they couldn't give me any estimate or answer on why my product was delayed, I started to worry... After 3 phone calls, weeks apart with very unhelpful costumer service members, I decided to cancel, as it seemed like I would never get the couch. They continued to lie to me every time I wrote to them or called, saying my refund was "on the way" and it could take up to 14 days, etc. They finally admitted that they would not be giving me a refund, but would offer me credits to their website. I obviously freaked out and swore to warn everyone never to order from this company. I believe that their company has gone under, and is no longer actually selling furniture because of all of the refunds and cancellations they have had in the recent months. They are also deleting negative comments off of many platforms. So until they take this one down too- DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. They will 10000 percent scam you. Ordered a couch and paid in full in December 2021. Seven months later no couch and I requested to cancel my order but they will not refund me my money.They keep lying saying they processed it and it takes time and I still have not been issued a refund. The refund has been dragged on for a month now. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I had to keep bugging them and reaching out to try and get the status of the couch for months just for them to keep telling me a few more weeks each time I contacted them. Issue me my refund and stop scamming your customers.
